Royal Enfield Classic 650 Spotted in India – The Most Powerful Classic is Coming!

For the first time, the brand-new Royal Enfield Classic 650 has been sighted undergoing testing in India. The basic form and aesthetic features of the Classic 650 are clearly visible despite the blurriness of the spy photos.

The test mule has traditional telescopic forks with fork covers and a Classic 350-style headlamp nacelle. Also, it has split seats, lengthy mudguards, and wire-spoke wheels, all of which are typical 350 design elements.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 also features a pair of peashooter exhausts that are slightly raised to complement the bike’s overall design. The motorcycle has centre-set footpegs and an upright handlebar, suggesting relaxed ergonomics and a comfortable riding posture.

Due to the fact that the future Classic 650 will be built on the same chassis as the Super Meteor 650, the same 648cc, oil-cooled, twin-cylinder engine that generates roughly 47 horsepower and 52 Nm of peak torque is anticipated to be used. A 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch are standard equipment for this engine.

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is anticipated to be released in India in the first few months of 2025. It is expected to be priced between the Interceptor 650 and Super Meteor 650, with a price tag of around Rs. 3.25 lakh (ex-showroom) being likely. Once launched, it will compete with the upcoming BSA Goldstar. The new Classic 650 would be a welcome addition to the Royal Enfield lineup, and it is expected to appeal to riders who are looking for a classic-styled motorcycle with modern performance and features.
