Royal Enfield expected to unveil Classic 350 Bobber by June

Royal Enfield is kicking off 2024 with a bang, having recently launched the Shotgun 650. Now, it’s gearing up to expand its 350cc lineup with the introduction of the Bobber version of the Classic 350.

Our sources indicate that the Chennai-based company is set to unveil the Classic 350 Bobber in the first quarter of the upcoming fiscal year. Positioned above the Classic 350, this motorcycle will be priced slightly higher than its modern-retro counterpart. While the Meteor 350 currently holds the title of the most expensive bike in Royal Enfield’s 350cc lineup, the new Bobber will closely rival its pricing.

The Classic 350 Bobber will come equipped with distinctive features, including a tall handlebar and a rear floating seat, which may be removable. Other features of the test bike that have been spotted recently include an engine guard, pannier mount on the right side, and white-walled tires. It’s anticipated that Royal Enfield will offer the crash guard as an accessory for an additional premium, similar to its existing lineup.

Under the hood, the Classic 350 Bobber will share the same J-series, 349cc, single-cylinder motor found in the Classic 350, Hunter, Meteor, and Bullet models. Generating 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque, this engine will be mated to a five-speed gearbox. Additionally, the Bobber’s chassis will undergo modifications to accommodate the new seating arrangement. Its hardware will include telescopic front forks, dual rear shocks, disc brakes at both ends and spoke wheels with road-biased tires.

With no direct competition in its segment, the Classic 350 Bobber is poised to capture significant attention. However, being in a niche segment, it’s expected that sales numbers may not reach extraordinary heights. But fans can expect this special addition to Royal Enfield’s range with great anticipation.
