Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Spotted Again – Live Closeup Photos

Royal Enfield is extending its lineup with a new 450cc model. The Himalayan 450 is likely to be the first, followed by Scram 450 at a later date. Both of these motorcycles will be priced higher than the current 411cc Himalayan and Scram models. Royal Enfield’s new 450cc platform is most likely in the final phases of development.

This new 450cc engine will provide powerful punches against fast-paced rivals, like the BMW G310GS, the current KTM 390 Adventure, the future 2024 KTM 390 Adventure, and the new Hero Xpulse 420. New spy pictures disclose the majority of Royal Enfield’s componentry and hardware. Royal Enfield has employed hard cladding rather than wraps or soft covering.

The Himalayan 450 is RE’s first single-cylinder motorbike with LED headlights and turn indicators. Along with USD front forks and a digital instrument cluster. The Himalayan 450 will be the first single-cylinder bike to use liquid cooling and might come with a 6-speed gearbox.

Royal Enfield is unlikely to include ride-by-wire, a slip-and-assist clutch, and a quick shifter. It is very likely that the rear wheel will include dual-channel ABS with switchable capabilities. Navigation and Bluetooth capability can be incorporated into the digital instrument cluster.

Notable features include a huge radiator in the front, expensive switchgear, and a new sump guard. Along with grippy off-road foot pegs with replaceable rubber and a redesigned brake fluid reservoir.

The output figures and exact specs for the new 450cc engine have yet to be released. The front wiser appears to provide adequate wind protection, and the seats appear to be comfortable. The front 19″ and rear 17″ wheel diameters could be like the Himalayan 411.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 could cost roughly Rs 2.50 lakh while the launch of this Royal Enfield bike is scheduled for early next year.
