Royal Enfield Meteor 350: Revamped with New Trim, Features, and Colors

Royal Enfield continues to innovate and refresh its fleet of fascinating vehicles. In addition to the Himalayan 450, the Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer is giving the Meteor 350 a comprehensive makeover. The new Aurora trim level, new colors, and extra features are all part of this development.

Comprehensive Overhaul of the RE Meteor 350

Royal Enfield is committed to keeping its product lineup competitive by introducing essential updates. This effort is even more pronounced in the lead-up to the festive season. In this vein, Royal Enfield has expanded the Meteor 350 range by introducing the new Aurora trim. As evident from the images, the Aurora trim represents a more “classic” interpretation of the standard cruiser, complete with exciting new color options. Positioned between the Astral and the top-of-the-line Supernova trims, the Meteor 350 Aurora is priced at Rs 2,19,900, with the base Fireball at Rs. 2,05,900, Astral at Rs. 2,15,900, and the top-spec Supernova at Rs 2,29,900 (all prices ex-showroom).

What Has the Aurora Trim Changed?

The new Aurora trim brings with it three new colors – Aurora Blue, Aurora Green, and Aurora Black. Beyond the fresh paint options, Royal Enfield has incorporated numerous retro and classic elements such as chrome-finished engine components, exhaust, wire-spoke alloy wheels, and, other stylish elements. Unlike all the other trims the Aurora stands out with its classic appeal.  The Aurora trim features LED headlights, a deluxe touring seat, aluminum switch cubes, a Tripper display for navigation, and more.

Enhancements in Features

Apart from the introduction of the Aurora trim, Royal Enfield has made adjustments to the Meteor 350’s trim-wise features. The top-spec Supernova trim now boasts LED headlights and aluminum switchgear, elevating its status. The Astral trim now includes Royal Enfield’s Tripper screen for navigation as a standard feature. The base Fireball trim has received a new elegant and standard Black paint option.

Powerful Performance

The RE Meteor 350 is equipped with a robust 349cc J-series single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that delivers 20.2 bhp at 6100rpm and a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4000rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and is also featured in the newly launched Bullet 350.

Balanced Chassis and Braking

The Meteor 350 rides on a dual-cradle J-series chassis, supported by a 41mm RSU telescopic suspension in the front and twin shocks in the rear. Braking duties are entrusted to a 300mm front disc and a 270mm rear disc, both complemented by a dual-channel ABS as standard.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 comes with several innovative features that enhance the overall riding experience. These features include:

  • Semi-Digital Instrument Console: The bike is equipped with a semi-digital display that provides essential information like speed, fuel level, and trip data, combining the charm of analog dials with digital functionality.
