The Chennai-based 2-wheeler brand Royal Enfiled has multiple bikes in the pipeline for our country, and the next biggest launch is all set to happen later today. Christened as Scram 411, the upcoming motorcycle is based on the Himalayan 411 adventure motorcycle.
Ahead of the official launch, all colours options have leaked online in a new set of live photos. As one can judge from the spy photos, the RE Scram 411 will be available in a total of 4 colour options – Grey with Yellow, Black with Red, White with Red, and Silver with Red. The design is clearly inspired by its more adventurous sibling, the Himalayan. Here are the latest spy photos of the Royal Enfield Scram 411 –
Furthermore, the RE Himalayan Scram 411 has smaller 19-inch front wheels, as opposed to the Himalayan’s 21-inch unit. Scram doesn’t have a windscreen or a raised front fender in the front. As for the instrument console, the forthcoming bike gets a digital analogue with an offset speedometer, but it misses the Tripper navigation system. However, the Tripper might be offered as an accessory at a later stage.
In terms of powertrain, the engine will be the same 411cc unit that is currently used in the Himalayan. The air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC motor produces 24.3 bhp and 32 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed transmission.
Coming to the pricing, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 is expected to launch in the Indian markets with an ex-showroom price tag of around 1.95 lakhs while the on-road price will hover around 2.25 lakhs.
