Royal Enfield To Launch Ducati Diavel-Inspired Power Cruiser In India

Royal Enfield is planning to launch a new power cruiser in India and international markets. The motorcycle, which is codenamed K1D, is inspired by the Ducati Diavel. A new 450cc single-cylinder engine and 6-speed transmission are projected to power it.

The K1D is expected to have a similar design to the Ducati Diavel and Benelli 502C, with swept-back handlebars, a low seat, and a relaxed riding position. It is also likely to have upside-down forks and a slipper clutch.

The 450cc engine is expected to produce a max power of around 40 bhp and 45 Nm of peak torque. The K1D is also expected to have a fully-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Pricing for the K1D is expected to start at around Rs 2.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is expected to be launched in the Indian markets in 2025.

Royal Enfield has a history of disrupting the market with new motorcycles

With their new motorcycles, Royal Enfield has a history of displacing the market. Customers have praised the Hunter 350, Himalayan 411, and Super Meteor 650, all of which the company just introduced. It is anticipated that the K1D would be another profitable motorcycle for Royal Enfield. It will be well-liked by riders due to its appealing appearance, strong engine, and affordable price.
