Sonalika Electric Tractor Price and Key Details: Sonalika Tractors recently launched India’s first electric tractor named ‘Tiger Electric’, which is powered by a 25.5kw IP67-compliant natural-cooling compact battery which ensures much lower running costs compared to a diesel tractor. The recently launched e-tractor is priced at INR 5.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The company has also started accepting pre-bookings for the e-tractor, which offers up to 24.93 kmph of top speed. With the latest equipment of Sonalika transmission, Tiger Electric offers a battery backup of up to 8 hours while operating with a two-tonne trolley. The company is also offering a fast charging option and claims that it charges the tractor from 0-100% in just 4 hours.
The Tiger Electric has been designed in Europe and is being manufactured at Sonalika’s integrated tractor facility situated at Hoshiarpur, Punjab. With the launch of Tiger Electric, the aim of the company is to promote a greener future and build green, eco-friendly products and provide technological evolutions for Indian farmers.
“The aim is to bridge the gap between concept and being field-ready while keeping pace with global benchmarks in mechanization in technology,” said Raman Mittal, Executive Director, at the launch of India’s first e-tractor. Tiger Electric has the same global technology that’s used to develop agricultural tools for European and American farmers.
It is a farmer-friendly tractor promoting a green future and easier to use for the farmers while cutting and lowering the fuel-costs and guarantees efficient productivity. The e-tractor is powered by a state-of-the-art IP67-compliant battery and ensures one-fourth of the running costs as compared to a diesel tractor. For optimal performance, Sonalika Tiger Electric offers high power density and high peak torque with zero RPM drop.
