Ultraviolette X44 In The Making – Here’s What We Know So Far

Ultraviolette Automotive is an Indian electric two-wheeler maker based in Bengaluru. Ultraviolette has trademarked a new name X44. After releasing the F77, it appears that X44 is their upcoming electric bike. Currently, there is no concrete detail about the category of this bike. But with the nomenclature Ultraviolette X44, there are some speculations.

One speculation is that it could be a new adventure motorcycle from the EV company. It could be based on the same core as the F77 but gets an ADV-oriented character. With spoked wheels, a high ground clearance, and upright ergonomics, it would be a tall motorbike. There could be changes to the suspension, power output, range, power delivery, off-road modes, etc.

Another speculation is that it could be a new naked motorcycle for urban usage. With a more affordable package, it could come with a smaller battery with a lesser range and power delivery suitable for city usage. We will get to know more about this mysterious electric bike once it is out on the road for testing. The bike maker might use the same futuristic design language to style the Ultraviolette X44.

The Ultraviolette F77 is a premium electric motorcycle with a price tag of Rs. 3.80 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants – Standard, Recon, and Limited (sold out).

The Standard variant has 36.2 HP, 85 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h in 8.3 seconds, 140 km/h top speed, and 206 km range. The Recon variant has 38.8 HP, 95 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h in 8 seconds, 147 km/h top speed, and 307 km range. The Limited variant has 40.5 HP, 100 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h in 7.8 seconds, 152 km/h top speed, and 307 km range.
