Updates to Mahindra Scorpio N Features

In a recent update, the Mahindra Scorpio N, introduced in 2022, has undergone significant changes, notably in its Z4 and Z6 variants. These alterations are part of Mahindra’s strategy to optimize costs while maintaining the overall quality and driving experience.

Feature Changes in Z4 and Z6 Variants

Under the Integrated Material Cost Reduction (IMCR) initiative, Mahindra dealers have communicated that the Z4 and Z6 variants will no longer feature the cooled glove box. This premium feature has now been reserved exclusively for the higher-spec Z8 and top-tier Z8L trims. The Z6 variant, in particular, has experienced a shift from its original 7-inch color TFT screen to a more compact 4.2-inch monochrome Multi-Information Display (MID). This display adjustment is mirrored in the lower Z4 trim. Additionally, the Adrenox Connect feature and built-in Alexa compatibility have been entirely removed from the infotainment system, contributing to a refined and streamlined feature set.

Price Adjustments

Despite the removal of certain features, it is crucial to note that the recalibration of features has come with a corresponding adjustment in the pricing of both Z4 and Z6 variants. The Z4 variant now commands a higher price, up by approximately Rs 34,000, while the Z6 variant has experienced an increase of around Rs 31,000. This adjustment reflects the efforts to balance the value proposition and the enhanced features offered in the higher trims.

Pricing and Variants

Delving into the specifics of the Scorpio N variants, the Z4 variant, now priced between Rs 15.24 lakh and Rs 18.51 lakh, continues to offer versatility with both petrol and diesel engine options. Moreover, customers can choose between manual and automatic transmissions, with the diesel powertrain also featuring a 4WD system for enhanced off-road capabilities. Meanwhile, the Z6 trim, now priced between Rs 16.61 lakh and Rs 18.30 lakh, has been streamlined to cater exclusively to diesel enthusiasts, with options available in both manual and automatic configurations.

 Scorpio N

While these updates have ushered in changes to the features and pricing of the Z4 and Z6 variants, the core essence of the Scorpio N remains intact. The vehicle retains its mechanical prowess and overall appeal, ensuring that the driving experience remains synonymous with the Scorpio legacy. Mahindra’s commitment to cost optimization has resulted in a thoughtful revision of features, enhancing the value proposition for customers across different variants.
