Watch Out Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 – Triumph Tiger 400 In The Making!

The motorcycle world is buzzing with excitement after the launch of the new Triumph Speed 400. This new Triumph has been hailed as the most value-for-money offering in the 350-500cc segment, thanks to its impressive performance and features.

But fans of the brand are already looking forward to the next 400cc Triumph. No, we’re not talking about the Scrambler 400X. During the launch event of the Speed 400, Triumph and Bajaj confirmed that they are planning to expand their 400cc lineup with more models in the future.

We believe that the partnership will result in a new adventure motorcycle, the Tiger 400. This will be a direct rival to the KTM 390 Adventure, Yezdi Adventure, and the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Online, fan-made renderings of the rumoured Triumph Tiger 400 have already begun to appear. A stunning adventure tourer that resembles a scaled-down Triumph Tiger 900 Sport is depicted in the renderings.

The Tiger 400 is expected to be powered by the same 400cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine found in the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X. But it could be tuned to offer better low-end torque. The Tiger 400 is expected to have a beak-like fender, tall visor, small fairing, and muscular fuel tank. These styling elements give the Tiger 400 a rugged and adventurous look. The bike is also expected to have long-travel suspension, spoked wheels, and knobby tires, making it a capable off-roader.

There are a few hurdles that need to be overcome before the Tiger 400 can become a reality. The biggest challenge is the platform. The Tiger 400 would need a completely different platform to be a capable adventure tourer. This would require significant investment and development, which could make the Tiger 400 too expensive for many riders.

Another challenge is the competition. The Indian motorcycle market is already crowded with adventure tourers, and the Tiger 400 would need to offer something unique to stand out from the crowd. This could be difficult, as many of the existing adventure tourers are already well-established and have a loyal following.
