Yamaha Introduces Customized MT-125 in JapanReady for Sale!

Yamaha took the spotlight at the 39th Osaka Motorcycle Show 2023 by showcasing a special version of the Yamaha MT-125. Yamaha used this occasion to introduce the bike and a comprehensive parts catalog in order to create excitement in the entry-level market and this model is intended to have a big influence on the 125cc segment.

During the event, Yamaha’s display, highlighted by the MT-125, caught the attention of onlookers with a comprehensive catalog of parts. This compact 125cc naked bike is set to represent the MT series in the entry-level category.

The showcased model featured a windshield that accentuates the naked styling characteristic of the MT series and Yamaha also added a set of adjustable levers in the signature Yamaha Blue color, providing a distinctive and familiar touch. An aluminum crankcase cover, finished in silver, was added for protection. The display model also boasted a Fender eliminator kit contributing to its aesthetics even if it may lead to dirt and road debris splashes.

The highlight of this display motorcycle at the show was undoubtedly the Akrapovic exhaust system. Originating from the Slovenian brand it is a full system with a carbon fiber tip adding a touch of flair to the overall design.

Furthermore, the MT-125 can be equipped with a lowered link similar to the one found on the YZF-R125. It is worth noting that the MT-125 is expected to receive several upgrades for the 2023 model year. The model is expected to come equipped with new components in Europe including traction control and a TFT gauge cluster resembling that of its larger sibling, the MT-07 and the display unit also includes newly painted decals with highlights of cyan. Yamaha has maintained inverted forks for this model, and the gold color complements the blue providing a visually appealing contrast.
