Royal Enfield Sherpa 650 Is Coming – Finally, A 650cc RE Scrambler

Royal Enfield is currently working on many 650cc motorcycles for both the domestic and international markets. Besides a new 450cc range with a liquid-cooled engine, Royal Enfield is expanding its 350cc portfolio. The Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 are already in the 650cc range, and the success formula will be expanded.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 made its global debut at the EICMA show in Milan, Italy in early November 2022. It will be the third motorcycle in the 650cc series. It was first seen at the Rider Mania event in India. When it hits the market in the coming weeks, the flagship cruiser is expected to cost around Rs 4 lacs.

The 650cc portfolio will include a faired cafe racer and a scrambler. And a Bullet-themed entry-level 650 retro motorcycle and a Classic-like 650. A more rugged version of the Himalayan 650 is also possible. While the production version of the SG 650 concept could arrive after the Super Meteor release later this year or in 2024.

Royal Enfield scrambler-styled 650 has already been spotted testing on public roads a few times, and it may be dubbed the Sherpa 650. It will share many features with it, such as the 648cc parallel twin-cylinder fuel-injected engine. It will be outfitted with USD front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear.

According to the spy shots, the Sherpa 650 will have a two-in-one exhaust system, a compact rear end, and knobby tyres. When it goes on sale next year, it will be positioned below the Super Meteor 650 and above the Interceptor 650. The Himalayan 450 may also be introduced by the Chennai-based manufacturer in 2023.
