Sales Report: Top 10 Best-Selling 250cc-500cc Bikes in India

The top 10 bikes sold in November 2018 under the 250cc-500cc category has names that vary with a difference that cannot be justified for any reason. The first position goes to Royal Enfield Classic 350, scoring 39,025 units in November 2018. The second, third and fourth position has also been bagged by three Royal Enfield motorcycles. Here is the list of top 10 motorcycles from the 250cc-500cc category.

  1. RE Classic 350 – 39,025 units
  2. RE Bullet 350 – 14,643 units
  3. RE Thunderbird 350 – 8109 units
  4. RE Classic 500 – 1696 units
  5. Yamaha FZ25 + Fazer25 – 1472 units
  6. RE Himalayan – 763 units
  7. KTM Duke 250 – 377 units
  8. RE Thunderbird 500 – 357 units
  9. KTM 390 Duke + RC 390 – 239 units
  10. Bajaj Dominar – 170 units

After Bullet 350 (14,643 units), Thunderbird 350 (8109 units) and Classic 500 (1696 units), Yamaha FZ25 was good for 1472 units. It was the last motorcycle to score four-digit sales figure in November 2018. The sixth position goes to Royal Enfield Himalayan with 763 units while KTM Duke 250 witnessed a downfall with just 377 units in the sales chart. Thunderbird 500 got just 357 buyers in the 30-day period.

KTM 390 series and Bajaj Dominar are two worst selling products with just 239 and 170 units for November 2018. Apart from these 10, remaining 13 motorcycles also saw a drop in sales number. The popular Apache RR310, Yamaha YZF-R3 and Honda CBR250R failed to prove their worth for the customers.
