Top 10 Best-Selling 2-Wheelers in India (August 2019)

The list of top 10 best-selling 2-wheelers in August 2019 registered a decline in the total sales by 15.68%. As usual, staying ahead in the game is Honda Activa, witnessing a total sales of 2,34,279 units in August 2019. The scooter registered a total decline in sales by 24.63% when compared to the same month last year. Honda Activa has registered the biggest drop in the volumes when compared to every other two-wheeler on the list.

Witnessing a sales of 2,12,839 units in total, Hero Splendor bags the second position on the list. The brand has registered a decline in total sales of the motorcycle by 13.87%. Scoring the third position is the Hero HF Deluxe, registering a total sales of 1,60,684 units in August 2019, seeing a decline in sales by 12.54% when compared to the 1,83,716 units sold in August 2018.

Grabbing the fourth spot with a major difference is the Honda CB Shine, registering a total sales of 87,434 units in August 2019. Next product on the list is Bajaj Pulsar grabbing the fifth spot and following shortly is the Hero Glamour. The former has been able to register a total sales of 70,562 units in August 2019 while the total sales for the latter stand at 60,706 units.

Taking the seventh spot on the list of the top 10 two-wheelers in August 2019, the TVS Jupiter was able to register a total sales of 57,849 units in August 2019. The eight and ninth spot has been grabbed by the TVS XL Super and Suzuki Access, registering a total sales of 55,812 units and 48,646 units in August 2019. The tenth spot on the list has been bagged by Bajaj Platina, witnessing a total sales of 44,774 units in August 2019. The brand has witnessed a total decline in the sales of the motorcycle by 2.50% when compared to the same month last year.
