Top 10 Best-Selling Motorcycles in India (October 2019)

The list of top 10 best-selling motorcycles in October 2019 has been able to witness an overall increase in the sales considering the festive season when compared to the total sales registered in September 2019. Though the increase in total monthly sales is somewhat a relief, the manufacturers are still struggling to handle the economic slowdown as the YoY sales have declined for almost all of them.

As usual, grabbing the first spot on the list is Hero Splendor being able to register a total of 2,64,137 units in October 2019. The brand has been able to register a total increase in monthly sales of Hero Splendor by 7.96% though the YoY sales for the motorcycles show a total decline by 1.58%. The second product on the list is Hero HF Deluxe being able to register a total sales of 1,85,751 units in October 2019 and witnessing a total decline by 7.27% when compared to the 2,00,312 units registered in the same month last year.

The third and fourth spot on the list of top 10 best-selling motorcycles in October 2019 has been bagged by Bajaj Pulsar and Honda CB Shine respectively. Things are looking good for Bajaj since Pulsar has been able to score a total of 95,509 units in Oct 2019 and registered an overall YoY increase by 5.69%. The Honda CB Shine, on the other hand, has been able to witness 87,743 units in sales in Oct 2019.

Witnessing a 60.23% monthly growth as compared to September 2019, the Bajaj Platina has been able to bag a total of 70,466 units in Oct 2019. The sixth and seventh spot on the list has been bagged by Bajaj CT and Hero Passion, being able to witness a total sales of 61,483 units and 45,928 units respectively.

With a 49% downfall in YoY sales and a 34% decline in monthly sales, the Hero Glamour has been only able to score a total of 40,896 units in sales in Oct 2019. The RE Classic 350, on the other hand, has been able to bag the ninth spot by registering a 32.5% increase in monthly sales and witnessing 38,936 units in October 2019. The TVS Apache has been able to grab the tenth spot on the list by registering a total of 34,059 units in Oct 2019.
