Top 10 Best-Selling Scooters in India (October 2019)

The list of top 10 best-selling scooters in October 2019 has brought some good news for the manufacturers. The festive season has finally allowed the scooter manufacturers to register an overall growth in sales by selling a total of 5,29,538 units in October 2019 as compared to the 5,02,646 units registered in September 2019.

As usual, grabbing the first spot on the list is Honda Activa that has registered a total of 2,81,273 units in October 2019 registering an overall increase by a total of 7.25%, when compared to the sales figure posted by the scooter in the same month last year. The second on the list is TVS Jupiter bagging a total of 74,560 units in October 2019. The scooter registered a 27% decline in the YoY sales as it registered a total of 1,02,132 units in October 2018.

The Suzuki Access, Honda Dio and the TVS NTorq are next on the list grabbing the third, fourth and fifth spots respectively. The Suzuki Access has been able to register a total of 53,552 units in October 2019 while the sales of Dio and NTorq stand at 36,939 units and 23,842 units respectively.

The list of top 10 best-selling scooters in October 2019 further witnesses the Hero Pleasure at the sixth spot by registering a total sales of 16,347 units in October 2019 and achieving an increase in total sales by 8.72% when compared to 15,036 units registered in the same month last year.

The Yamaha Fascino and the Hero Maestro have officially scored themselves the seventh and eighth spot by registering a total sales of 12,272 and 11,807 units respectively in October 2019.

Hero Destini is next on the spot that has registered the maximum increase in YoY sales by a total of 86.6%. The scooter has been able to bag a total of 10,371 units in October 2019 as compared to 5,556 units witnessed in the same month in 2018. The tenth spot on the list has been registered by Yamaha Ray by bagging a total of 8,575 units in October 2019.
