Brand-Wise Car Sales Report (July 2020); Tata Beats Mahindra
The brand-wise car sales report for July 2020 has been led by Maruti Suzuki which registered a sales figure of 97,768 units. As the economy has started improving a little bit, India’s largest car manufacturer has witnessed a growth of 1.3% in sales when compared to the same month last year. The second position in the list has been bagged by Hyundai which was good enough to register a sales figure of 38,200 units, although posting a 2.1% drop in sales.
The third position in the list has been marked by Tata Motors. The brand has impressed everyone with its sales figure considering the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation. Tata posted a sales figure of 15,012 units in the previous month, registering a 43.2% growth in comparison the sales number posted by the brand in July 2019.
Following Tata Motors is Mahindra with 10,904 units on its side. The next two positions in the list have been marked by Kia Motors with 8,502 units and Renault with 6,422 units respectively.
Toyota bagged the seventh position in the list with a sales figure of 5,386 units. Following it is Honda by registering sales of 5,383 units for July 2020. The ninth position in the list has been marked by Ford with a sales figure of 3,937 units for the previous month. As the Indian government has recently announced the Unlock 3.0, the sales numbers are expected to improve further in the coming weeks. Following is the brand-wise car sales report for July 2020.
