Brand-Wise Sales Report (January 2020): According to the latest monthly sales report for the two-wheeler brands, Hero MotorCorp has grabbed the first position in the list by posting a sales figure of 4,88,069 units. Following it is Honda 2-wheelers that registered a sales figure of 3,74,114 units.
In January 2020, TVS Motor has managed to beat Bajaj Auto by a considerable margin. The former was able to bag 1,63,007 units for the previous month while the latter posted a sales figure of 1,57,796 units which also includes KTM bikes. The fifth and sixth position in the list has been marked by Royal Enfield and Suzuki that witnessed sales of 61,292 units and 56,012 units respectively.
Yamaha is at seventh position in the list with a sales figure of 35,913 units which is 35.1% less than the sales number posted by the brand in January 2019. The eighth position in the list has been marked by the Piaggio (Aprilia+Vespa) that registered sales of 4,358 units.
The next three positions have been bagged by premium motorcycle brands Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki, and Triumph with sales of 210 units, 151 units, and 60 units respectively. Mahindra 2-Wheelers is at the last position in the list as the brand was able to sell only 23 bikes in January 2020.
