Top 10 Best-Selling Scooters in India (November 2018)

The top 10 best-selling scooters in India are showing changing trends in November 2018. Seven out of ten options are available with the smaller 100-110cc engine while three 125cc scooters have scored a praiseworthy number. The best selling scooter of India is Honda Activa, getting 2,18,212 units in the month of November 2018 and winning over the second scooter by three times the number. TVS Jupiter is second with 69,391 units. Suzuki Access scored 42,334 units during the same period while Honda Dio was good for 38,484 units. The fifth position goes to Hero Maestro Edge with 23,280 units.

The effect of premium scooters is visible in India as TVS Ntorq scored 20,715 units to reach the sixth position. Yamaha Fascino scored 16,117 units while recently launched Hero Destni entered the list at the eighth position with 16,047 units. The remaining two products are also from Hero. The pleasure was good for 13,388 units while Duet seems struggling to maintain a good number at 12,137 units. The impressive achievement by Destni is due to the affordable placement while Suzuki Access is the most selling 125cc option with more than 2x units than the Ntorq and 2.5x sales in comparison to Destini.

The combined sales figure for top 10 scooters in India is 4,70,105 units. This clears that Honda Activa has lost its dominance of getting 50% market share in the scooter section in November 2018. Here is the list of top 10 best-selling scooters in India.
