Top 20 Best-Selling Hatchbacks in India (Sales Report): There is no doubt that the most popular segment in cars is the hatchback segment. The sales report for last month shows that once again Maruti Suzuki leads the list as Maruti Alto ranks at the first position in the list with a sales figure of 15,079 units for September 2019.
The second, third and fourth position in the list has also been bagged by Maruti Suzuki as Swift, WagonR, and Baleno are placed at 2nd, 3rd and 4th position with 12,934 units, 11,757 units and 11,420 units respectively.
The Hyundai i20 witnessed a sales figure of 10,141 units, which is 18% less than what it posted in September last year. The recently launched Maruti S-Presso has shown impressive sales figure in its first month. It is marked at 7th position in the list with 5,006 units on its side.
The recently launched Toyota Glanza has posted a sales figure of 2,773 units for September 2019. Maruti Ignis bagged 1,266 units and is placed at 14th position in the list. The Ford Freestyle witnessed a decline of 82% when compared to the sales figure posted by the car in the same month last year. This time it registered just 422 units and following it is the Datsun GO, which managed to register only 136 units in the same period.
