Top 20 Best-Selling Sedans in India (September 2019)

The sales report of the top 20 best-selling sedans in India is out for September 2019 and as usual, the brand that leads this list is Maruti Suzuki. The first position in the list has been grabbed by Maruti Dzire, which was able to register 15,622 units. The second and third position in the list has been bagged by Honda cars, Amaze and City, which registered 4,823 units and 1,819 units respectively.

The Hyundai Verna settled at fourth position in the list with a sales figure of 1,738 units for September 2019, which is 50% less than the sales number posted by the car in the same month last year. Maruti Ciaz registered 1,715 units and marked the fifth position in the list whereas Hyundai Xcent is just below it with 1,164 units on its side.

The Skoda Rapid registered a sales figure of 816 units and took the seventh position in the list whereas the premium sedan by the brand, Octavia registered 165 units and is on the fifteenth position in the list of top 20 best-selling sedans for September 2019.

The Hyundai Elantra premium sedan has shown a growth of 3% in sales in comparison to the sales figure in September last year. It registered 94 units this time and ranks at 17th position in the list. Nissan Sunny and Toyota Camry registered sales figures of 53 units and 34 units respectively and are at 19th and 20th position in the list.
