Apart from the auto slump, another big reason that has contributed to a decrease in the sale of Yamaha two-wheelers is the approaching deadline of the BS6 emission norms. On analysing the overall sales report of Yamaha, we have explored that the brand has experienced a Year-over-Year (YoY) decline of 34.5% in November 2019. In the same month last year, Yamaha managed to sell off a total of 60,116 units, whereas this year the sales number has dropped to 39,406 units.

On getting into the details of the November 2019 sales report, we found out that the brand’s maximum retailing model was FZ V3, which is a premium commuter motorcycle.
