2022 TVS iQube Scooter Launched – Charges At Rs 3 Per Day

TVS, one of India’s most popular scooter brands, has today launched the 2022 iQube with three variants called iQube, iQube S and iQube ST. As mentioned by the brand, the on-road price for the standard iQube is Rs 98,564 in Delhi, while the iQube S is offered at an on-road price of Rs 1,08,690 in Delhi. On the other hand, the price for the ST variant has not been announced yet, but interested buyers can reserve the electric scooter by paying a nominal amount of Rs 999.

The brand has offered the iQube electric scooter with cutting-edge technology to give neck-to-neck competition in this modern era of EVs. The TVS connectivity platform, SmartXonnect, has been offered as a standard on all three variants. The SmartXonnect technology connects the digital instrument panel to the mobile phone via the TVS iQube app. Users can access a variety of functions once they join. It has a navigation aid that shows the instructions on the screen.

The base iQube variant features a 5-inch fully-coloured TFT display, while the S and ST variants are fitted with 7-inch fully-coloured TFT dashboards. Apart from the display size, the other variance in all three variants is the colour scheme, as the base iQube receives three shade options named Shining Red, Titanium Grey Glossy, and Pearl White, while the S version gets four shades named Mercury Grey Glossy, Mint Blue, Lucid Yellow, and Copper Bronze Glossy.

In addition, the top-spec ST variant also boasts a four-shade paint scheme that comprises Starlight Blue Glossy, Titanium Grey Matte, Coral Sand Glossy and Copper Bronze Matte. The scooter comes with a smart LED headlight with DRLs, fast charging, ample 30-litre (two-helmet) under-seat storage, a USB charging socket, a flip key with LED light, and parking brake lever, side-stand indication, music control, turn-by-turn navigation, and many more other features.

Powering the iQube electric scooter is a three-lithium-ion battery pack that supplies power to a BLDC hub-mounted motor and is capable of producing 4.4 kW of power and 140 Nm of torque. The battery pack is protected against water and dust by an IP67-rated enclosure made of high-strength aluminium extrusion. The base and S variants offer a real range of 100 km, while the ST variant offers a 140 km real range.
