2023 Honda Scoopy 110cc Scooter Makes Official Debut

Honda’s Scoopy is a neo-retro scooter that is available in many South East Asian countries. It has even been patented in India, where Honda may be considering launching Scoopy in our country. Honda has already updated the Scoopy for 2023 with new features and colour options.

Honda Scoopy is in its fifth generation in Indonesia and the brand now offers it in 4 trims: Fashion, Prestige, Sporty, and Stylish. The design of the Honda Scoopy is its main selling point, particularly at the front, where a large headlight assembly is located in the apron.

It consists of a large projector unit held in an oval casing, like a jewel. The turn indicators are shaped like water droplets that encircle the headlight assembly. A small protruding element on top of this apron houses Scoopy’s instrument console. The round ORVMs add to the retro feel.

Behind this apron is a storage area with a smartphone USB charger. Scoopy comes with Honda’s new smart key that debuted in India with the top-spec Activa model. The side body panels are reminiscent of vintage scooters and blend in well with the design of the Honda Scoopy. Honda offers the 2023 Scoopy in eight different colour options.

It has front telescopic forks and a single shock absorber in the back. A single-sided swingarm, 12″ to 14″ wheels, a swingarm-mounted engine, and other features are included. The Honda Scoopy has a front disc brake and a rear drum brake. Scoopy weighs 95 kg with 4.5L of fuel in the tank.

The Honda Scoopy retro scooter is powered by a 109.5 cc single-cylinder engine, which is like the one found in the Activa 6G in India. Scoopy produces 9 bhp and 9.3 Nm of torque because it is EURO 3 emission compliant rather than EURO 6 (BS6 in India). In comparison, the Honda Activa 6G has a max power output of 7.68 bhp and a peak torque of 8.84 Nm.
