Honda Activa 5G Limited Edition (Live Photos): Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India have launched an all-new limited edition variant of its best-selling scooter Activa 5G that features a host of visual upgrades. The brand is currently focusing on increasing the sales for its hot-selling scooter since they have seen a gradual decline in it from the past few months.
Honda has equipped the Activa 5G limited edition with a host of new visual updates though the price tag has only been increased by INR 400, for keeping the cost-effectiveness and sales in check. The Activa 5G LE is available in two variants namely Standard and DLX, getting an ex-showroom price tag of INR 55,032 and INR 56,897 respectively.
There aren’t any mechanical changes made to the limited edition model. It continues to be powered by a 109cc, fan-cooled, 4-stroke, SI engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 8 bhp at 7500 rpm and max torque of 9 Nm at 5500 rpm. The brand has launched the new variant with several exterior updates that make it more appealing to the audience.
Like the regular model of the Activa 5G, the limited edition also features a sleek design, plus LED headlamp and position lamps that adds onto its appeal whereas offer added safety in the dark. The instrument console of the limited edition Activa has also been redesigned to feature service due indicator.
In addition to these, the scooter also features limited edition badging on the front apron and on the side panels while the limited edition also features chrome finish with unique graphics and an all-new brown leather seat gives it a premium stance. In order to offer the scooter a sportier look, the brand has opted for a blacked-out look for the rearview mirrors, exhaust, brakes, engine, suspension as well as the wheels.
The Activa 5G Limited Edition can be availed in new two dual-tone colour schemes namely: Pearl Precious White plus Matte Selene Silver, and Strontium Silver Metallic plus Pearl Igneous Black. The live photos you see here are of the White/Silver colour combination.
