Top 10 Best-Selling Scooters in India (August 2019)
The list of top 10 best-selling scooters in India for August 2019 is out now and as usual, we can easily see the decline in the sales figures because of the slowdown in the market. Starting with the list, Honda’s Activa continues to lead at the first position by registering a sales figure of 2,34,279 units for August 2019.
The second position in the list has been grabbed by TVS Jupiter with 57,849 units for August 2019. The scooter has witnessed growth as compared to the sales figure posted by it in July this year. Suzuki Access ranks at the third position in the list with a sales figure of 48,646 units. Honda Dio holds the fourth position by registering 37,726 units for August 2019, which is more than what it posted in July 2019.
The fifth position in the list has been marked by TVS Ntorq, which managed to register a sales figure of 25,578 units. The sixth and seventh position in the list of top 10 best selling scooters for August 2019 was bagged by Hero Pleasure and Yamaha Fascino, which managed to post a sales figure of 16,308 units and 14,652 units respectively.
The Hero Maestro stood at the eighth position in the list with a sales figure of 12,724 units. There is a new entry in the list, the Yamaha Ray, and it has replaced TVS Pep+ that was at 9th position in July 2019. The scooter by Yamaha managed to post a sales figure of 9,924 units. The tenth position in the list was marked by Hero’s Destini 125, which registered a sales figure of 9,735 units.
