HMSI has officially launched the BS6 Honda Activa 125 Fi at a starting price tag of INR 67,490 (ex-showroom Delhi). The customers can further avail the new Activa 125 with alloy wheels at a price tag of INR 70,990 while the Honda Activa 125 Deluxe variant gets a price tag of INR 74,490. The scooter was introduced by the brand earlier this year.
Christened as the king of scooters in the Indian market, the Honda Activa 125 is the first BS6-compliant product from the brand. The scooter has been subjected to a minimum reduction in the power output considering the implementation of BS6 though the overall fuel efficiency has been increased by 13%.
The Honda Activa 125 with a BS6 engine is powered by the 124cc fuel-injected engine that offers a maximum power of 8.1HP at 6500 rpm. The brand has equipped the engine with Honda’s PGM-FI HET (Honda Eco Technology) and Honda Enhanced Smart Power (ESP) that further improves the combustion and reduces the overall friction. The AC generator is responsible for charging the battery on the go while at the same time improves the performance.
Honda has optimized the inlet port shape as well as offers a compact combustion chamber to the updated scooter. The BS6 Honda Activa 125 Fi measures 1,850mm in length, 707mm in width, and 1,170mm in height. The customers can avail the scooter in three variants namely: front disc brake with alloy wheels, front drum brake with alloy wheels, and front drum brake with steel wheels.
The brand has equipped the updated Activa 125 Fi with a digital instrument console that offers information on the fuel consumption, real-time fuel economy and more. The BS6 Honda Activa can be availed in Rebel Red Metallic, Black, Heavy Grey Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Pearl Precious White, and Majestic Brown Metallic colour variants.
