Up to INR 40,000 Discount on BS4 Vespa and Aprilia Scooters

Huge Discount on BS4 Vespa and Aprilia Scooters: As per the latest media reports, some of the Piaggio dealerships are offering discounts of up to INR 40,000 on the Aprilia and Vespa scooters in the Indian markets. The discounts are only valid on the BS4 variants of the scooters and have been specifically offered to clear out the remaining BS4 inventory before the extended deadline ends.

As the manufacturers and dealerships were not able to sell most of their BS4 inventory before the April 1, 2020 deadline because of the decreased footfall due to the nationwide lockdown being the major reason of the cause, the authorities had filed a petition with the Supreme Court for the extension of the BS4 deadline. The Supreme Court has complied with the terms and as per its decision, the dealerships are now allowed to sell 10% of their remaining BS4 inventory within the 10 days post the lockdown is lifted.

Since the last date of the nationwide lockdown has now been extended to May 3, 2020, the manufacturers are expected to open their shutters on the said date which gives them a 10-day window between May 4 and May 13 to sell their remaining BS4 inventory. Thus Piaggio is offering discounts of up to INR 40,000 on its BS4 portfolio of the Vespa and Aprilia scooters.

Some of the dealerships are also offering discounts worth INR 25,000 on the BS6 Aprilia and Vespa scooters to sweeten up the deals further. As the Vespa and Aprilia scooters that have been updated with BS6-compliant engines now feature a premium of up to INR 21,000 over their BS4 price tags, it is the best time for the customers to get their hands on the BS4 portfolio with superb discount offers which are valid only for 10 days after the lockdown is lifted.
