Rissala Electric Motors Private Limited, a Gurugram-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer has recently debuted four new electric vehicles in India. All the electric vehicles have been presented to the audience under the Evolet brand. The three electric scooters have been christened as Polo, Pony, and Derby while the fourth product has been christened as Warrior, the country’s first-ever electric quad bike.
The brand will be offering the Polo electric scooter in two variants namely: Polo EZ and Polo Classic, both getting an ex-showroom price tag of INR 44,499 and INR 54,499 respectively. The former features a 48-Volt VRLA battery while the latter has been equipped with a lithium-ion battery. Similarly, the Evolet Pony e-scooter can be availed with a lead-acid battery at a price tag of INR 39,499 while the lithium-ion battery variant is available at INR 49,499.
Another premium electric scooter from the brand is Evolet Derby that is equipped with a waterproof brushless DC motor. The vehicle can be further availed with a 30Ah lead-acid battery at a price tag of INR 46,499 while the lithium-ion battery variant gets a price tag of INR 59,999. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom.
All the three electric scooters from Risala Electric Motors offers a total range of 60 km while the top speed stands at 25 kmph. The batteries for the electric products require around 4 hours for a full charge. The top-end variant of these electric vehicles features IoT (Internet of Things) capabilities while the dedicated smartphone application further offers the rider with real-time riding dynamics.
Coming to India’s first-ever electric quad bike, Warrior, it is equipped with a 3000-watt waterproof BLDC motor The Evolet Warrior features a 72-volt/40Ah lithium-ion battery that is capable of offering a maximum range of 50 km and a top speed of 60 kmph. The Evolet Warrior can be availed in the market at a price tag of INR INR 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
