Honda has officially launched the bigger version of the Forza 300 in Thailand. Known as Forza 350, the all-new maxi-scooter is available in the Thai markets with a price tag of THB 1,73,500 (INR 4.15 lakhs, approximate, direct conversion). The 350cc scooter is available in Thailand in four colour options - Black, Red/Black, Blue/Black, and Blue/White. Speaking at the launch of the all-new Forza 350, Mr Shigito Kimura, Executive Chairman of AP Honda Company Limited, said: "As a market leader, Honda is ready to re-stimulate the motorcycle industry in Thailand. Beginning with the launch of the new Forza 350, the world's first in Thailand. It comes with a new engine with eSP + that provides superior strength and answers to the needs of people who like high-performance vehicles. The new maxi-scooter is designed for enhanced aerodynamics. It is both sport and luxury. This is the scooter that will change the direction of the Thai Big Scooter market towards a new era." Powering the Honda Forza 350 is a 329.6cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine while the brand has not revealed the power and torque figures yet. For your reference, the Forza 300 is powered by a 279cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 24.8 bhp @ 7000 rpm and a peak torque of 27.2 Nm @ 5,750 rpm. Like the Forza 300, the Honda Forza 350 is also equipped with a CVT transmission mated to an automatic centrifugal clutch. The brand has also equipped the Forza 350 with a Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system that allows the rider to regain the rear wheel traction for extra smooth handling on the roads while controlling the torque produced with the help of fuel injection. The Forza 350 gets an LED headlight set up at the front while the large windscreen is also adjustable. In addition to this, the maxi-scooter gets huge under-seat storage capable of storing two helmets at a time. The suspension duties on the maxi scooter are handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear has been equipped with 7-step adjustable twin shock absorbers. The braking power is offered by disc brakes at either side mated to a dual-channel ABS as standard. The scooter features 120/70-R15 front tyre and a 140/70-R14 tyre at the rear. The brand has further equipped the scooter with a smart key that offers control over the ignition, under-seat storage as well as the fuel compartment. As far as the launch of Forza in India is concerned, we will be getting the 300cc version of the maxi-scooter by the end of this year or in early next year.
