Keeway, a Hungarian two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced the introduction of the Yamaha Aerox 155-rival Vieste 300 in the Indian market for Rs 2.99 lakh. Bookings for the product are now open for a nominal fee of Rs 10,000. The company has also stated that delivery for both scooters will begin in June 2022.
The scooter is powered by a 278.2cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor that delivers 18.7bhp and 22Nm of peak torque. In comparison, the Aerox 155’s 155cc, single-cylinder, the liquid-cooled engine produces 14.79bhp and 13.9Nm. This new maxi-scooter features split-style headlights mounted on the apron, a tinted fly screen, a split-style footboard, and a step-up saddle.
Premium features on the Hungarian maxi-scooter include LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and keyless operation. Two analogue dials flank the LCD panel, displaying the tachometer and speedometer. Telescopic front forks and twin rear springs are used for shock absorption. A 240mm disc at the front and a 220mm rotor at the back anchor the vehicle, while dual-channel ABS controls the safety net.
