New Honda Activa 125 Premium Edition Scooter Debuts Officially

Honda has recently introduced the Premium Edition of the Activa 125 scooter to the Indian market. The only distinction from the existing variants is the cosmetic basis. Offered with the new colour scheme, the new 125cc scooter is priced at a starting price of Rs 78,725 for the drum brake and Rs 82,280 for the disc brake variant. Both the prices are ex-showroom in Delhi. It also needs to be mentioned that the Premium Edition is Rs. 2000 costlier than its equivalent standard trims.

Aside from the aesthetic updates, the rest of the scooter remains the same standard Activa 125. Speaking of the new colour scheme, there are two dual-tone colour choices, which are Pearl Amazing White with Matte Magnificent and Matte Steel Black Metallic with Matte Earl Silver Metallic. The dual-tone colour runs from the front to the side panels. Moreover, the essential updates on the scooter include the black engine with a black front suspension.

In addition, the LED headlamp is also painted in a dual-tone colour, and the grab rail is finished in body colour. The scooter also features an Activa 125 embossment on the tail lamp. The Honda Activa 125 scooter is loaded with plenty of features like a multifunction switch, a semi-digital instrument cluster, an Idling Stop System (ISS), a front glove box, an external fuel filler cap, and more.

In terms of powertrain, the Activa 125 Premium Edition is powered by the same 124cc, air-cooled engine that is teamed with a CVT gearbox and generates 8.18 hp of max power and 10.3 Nm of max torque. The ACG (Alternator Current Generator) from the Japanese manufacturer is also available for a quiet engine start. This scooter rivals the Suzuki Access 125, Hero Destini 125, and TVS Jupiter 125 in the Indian two-wheeler market.
