New Honda Click 160 Premium Scooter Makes Official Debut

Honda has introduced its latest addition ‘’Click 160’’ at a motor show in Thailand, which has already been launched in Indonesia and is quite popular among the people there. It is a successor of Click 150. Honda has been selling Vario scooters in Indonesia since 2006 and with gaining popularity the all-new Vario 160 is endorsed to be better than all the predecessors aesthetically as well as performance-wise.

Compared to Click 110, the 160cc model provides better throttle as it gets a new and powerful engine. The latest design is very sharp and edgy which in this case is bigger and better than the previous versions. It has twin-beam LED headlamps with LED DRL eyebrows that stretch towards the top, by adding turn indicators along the LED position lamps makes the Click 160 very daunting.

The exterior includes a single-piece grab rail, blacked-out panels including the floorboard, exhaust muffler, alloy wheels, rearview mirrors and a small visor on the handlebar which adds to its dual-tone appearance. It has under-seat storage which comes with a USB charging port and also has a smart-key ignition. It comes with a fully digital instrument console that is capable of displaying an array of information including fuel level, distance travelled, average fuel consumption, speed etc.

It hosts a 156.9cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine linked to a CVT gearbox which gives an output of 15 Bhp backed up with 13.4 Nm of peak torque which rivals the Yamaha Aerox 155. Honda Click 160 consists of 14-inch alloy wheels with 100/80 and 120/70 tyres. It has disc brakes at both ends which are aided by ABS (anti-brake system).

The all-new Honda Click 160 is unlikely to enter the Indian scooter market, however, the brand can send the PCX scooter to our shores which will be based on the same underpinnings and use the same powertrain. If launched in India in future, the PCX will go to rival the Yamaha Aerox 155.
