The price of Ola Electric’s premium e-scooter, the S1 Pro, has been increased by Rs 10,000. The new Ola S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters were introduced in India in August of last year, with prices starting at Rs 85,099 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The costs of the S1 Pro have now been hiked by Rs 10,000, but the prices of the regular S1 have remained unchanged.
The Ola S1 Pro electric scooter now costs Rs 1.20 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi, following FAME-II and state government subsidies), while it will cost Rs 1.40 lakh in other states, up from Rs 1.30 lakh previously (Ex-Showroom). The Ola S1’s pricing has not been raised, and it will continue to retail at Rs 85,099 and Rs 99,999, Ex-Showroom, Delhi and other states, respectively.
The S1 Pro receives no cosmetic updates and is available in 10 colour combinations. The Move OS 2 update will be rolled out to the full fleet shortly. The system is now under Beta testing and has been made available to a limited number of consumers. The electric motor with a peak power output of 8.5kW is kept the same in terms of mechanical specs.
