The top 10 best-selling scooters in India are following the common pattern seen from the last few years, letting Activa be the leader with 2,18,734 units for the month of May 2019. The highest selling product is still far away when compared to the remaining products, with the closest possible product being TVS Jupiter with 56,797 units in the same period. Suzuki Access is good for 51,414 units, scoring the third position out of all and staying behind with just a few units from the second scooter.
The popular Honda Dio moto-scooter posted 46,840 units during the 31-day period. TVS Ntorq is the fifth best selling product with 21,010 units while Hero Destini 125 got 16,752 units for the sixth position. Yamaha enters the list with Fascino at 15,459 units while Hero Maestro is good for 13,423 units. Honda Grazia has witnessed a drop in the sales number and registered just 11,513 units in May 2019, while Yamaha Ray was the tenth best-selling product with 10,920 units on its side.
The scooters on this list remain almost similar in all months, with last few options switching places with each other with changing buyer preferences. Not just that, the number also depends on the manufacturing capacity of a particular month as less than usual production can bring a sudden drop in deliveries for the fast-selling options. The most powerful scooter on the list is TVS Ntorq while regular 110cc options produce the least amount of power.
