Yamaha Force X Off-Road Scooter Details and Official Photos

One of the most important two-wheeler manufacturers, Yamaha, has recently debuted its all-new Force X scooter. With off-roading capabilities, the Yamaha Force X is all set to lock horns with the Honda ADV 150 in the Chinese two-wheeler market. Its arrival on our shores is uncertain at the moment. However, if it comes in the future, it is most likely to be offered in limited numbers.

The Yamaha Force X boasts a new design language, and its sporty features add to its elegance. As for key highlights, the scooter comes fitted with a headlight-mounted front apron, a fully-digital instrumental console, handlebar-mounted indicators, a stepped-up single-piece seat, a side-mounted exhaust, a pillion grab rail, a halogen headlamp, and arrowhead-shaped mirrors.

Powering the new Force X is the same engine that is already used in the Fascino 125 and the Ray ZR. It is a 125cc, air-cooled, Blue Core hybrid engine that is capable of churning out 8.17hp at 6,500rpm and max torque of 9.7Nm at 5,000rpm and is coupled to a CVT gearbox. The scooter rides on 10-inch wheels at the front and rear, which are wrapped in road tyres.

Furthermore, the suspension system in the sporty scooter is assigned to telescopic forks on the front end and a shock absorber on the rear, while the braking duties are handled by a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. However, the brand has not disclosed whether the ABS will be equipped on the maxi-style scooter yet or not.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the scooter is available in the Chinese market with a price tag of CNY 8,980, which is equivalent to 1.07 lakh Indian rupees. Also, the brand has not revealed any plans to launch this scooter in the Indian two-wheeler market.
