Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Variant-Wise Price List Officially Revealed

Yamaha Motor India unveiled the Ray ZR 125 back on December 20, 2019, and now the brand has officially launched the updated scooter series in India. The Ray ZR 125 is available in two variants while the Street Rally is available in a single variant. Here is the variant-wise ex-showroom price list of the 125cc Ray ZR:

  • Ray ZR 125 DrumINR 66,730
  • Ray ZR 125 DiscINR 69,730
  • Ray ZR 125 Street RallyINR 70,730

The Ray ZR 125 is the successor of BS4-compliant 110cc Ray ZR. The outgoing model is powered by a single-cylinder, carbureted engine that produces 7.2HP of maximum power along with 8.1Nm of torque. On the other hand, the new Ray ZR 125 is powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder unit that is fuel-injected and BS6-compliant. It is capable of producing 8.2HP of power along with 9.7Nm of peak torque.

The new 125cc model costs around INR 11,849 more when compared to the drum brake variant of the BS4-compliant Ray ZR. This increase is justifiable considering the update the new scooter has received.

Yamaha has worked on the design traits as well. The two scooters come featured with distinctive styling that has a visor-mounted T-shaped LED DRL, faux air intakes that flank the headlamp along with an angular and sleek tail lamp. The Street Rally version gets knuckle guards, bold paint schemes, and tyres with a rugged pattern.

The all-new 125cc Ray ZR has been equipped with a quiet engine-start system and a stop/start system. The Street Rally also includes several other features that include a new digital instrument cluster and a wider 110-section rear tyre. It also gets a host of accessories that include a front and rear crash guard.
