Apple Watch SE 2 Officially Launched in India at Rs 29,900

Apple Watch SE 2 is the company’s new midrange smartwatch, and while it is not as cheap as some of the best cheap smartwatches, its lower price and features will make it appealing to first-time smartwatch owners and families looking to outfit their children with a smartwatch. Everything Apple revealed about the Apple Watch SE 2 at the September Apple Event is listed below.

The original Apple Watch SE design is essentially a replica of the Apple Watch 4. Even though it lacks an ECG reader, it is more similar to the Series 4 than the Apple Watch 5 because it lacks an always-on display.

The SE 2 will resemble the original Watch SE, with the same display sizes. It will be available in three colours and will feature a redesigned back case made of nylon composite materials that match the front bezel.

The SE 2 will be available in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm, with a Retina display rated at 1000 nits. It is also water resistant to a depth of 50 metres.

Because the SE 2 will use the same processor and motion sensors as the Series 8, Apple claims that it will be 20% faster than the original and will support crash detection. It will also include high and low heart rate notifications, as well as fall detection, both of which were present in the original Apple Watch SE.

The Apple Watch SE 2 will lack some of the tools found on the Apple Watch 8, such as the Apple Watch Blood Oxygen app. The Apple Watch SE 2 also has a second-generation optical heart rate sensor, whereas the Apple Watch 8 and Apple Watch Ultra have third-generation sensors.

Battery life is expected to be around 18 hours, as with most other Apple Watch models, but a new low battery mode, which is rolling out to all Apple Watch models (Series 4 and later), will provide up to 36 hours of battery life.
