2022 Suzuki GSX250R Makes Official Debut; Gets ABS and New Colours

Suzuki has updated the design language of several of its products in recent years to make them more sophisticated, and one of them is the GSX250R. This fully-faired bike is one of the most popular bikes in global markets, and now, as part of the 2022 update, the brand has introduced the bike with a new colour scheme and features. The newly introduced dual-tone colour scheme comprises Metallic Crystal Blue and Pearl Nebular Black colours.

Speaking in detail, the dual-tone colour scheme is applied horizontally, with the majority of the blue parts covering the upper regions of the bike. It can be observed on the front cowl, fuel tank, and tail assembly. while the layers below, including the engine cowl and side fairing, are finished in black. Most of the components are blacked out, such as the front fender, exhaust pipe, suspension, chassis, and engine.

Moreover, the graphics on the bike are kept to a bare minimum, which helps to eliminate clutter and keeps the attention only on the dual-tone colour concept. With the inclusion of a new colour scheme, the bike looks sportier in comparison to other offered colour options. Blue is one of the most loved colours on bikes and cars all around the world, and the GSX250R getting the blue shade will definitely enhance its craze.

Apart from the cosmetic update, the brand has also offered the 2022 GSX250R with a mechanical update. The new model for the US market gets dual-channel ABS. However, the other specs like Nissin, 2-piston calliper, single disc at the front and 1-piston calliper, single disc at the rear will remain the same. The motorcycle is offered at a starting price of $4,999 in the US market, which is equivalent to INR 3.82 lakh. As far as the bike’s India launch is concerned, it doesn’t seem to happen here since we already have the Gixxer SF250 here.
