Suzuki Intruder 150 Brochure was recently leaked in India before the official launch on November 7. Carrying class leading style and loads of equipment, Intruder moniker is surely a great way to fetch cruiser riders from other brands around this product’s placements.

Few things that makes the Intruder 150 unique in this segment includes LED headlight, anti-lock braking system and sporty twin outlet, sport bike like exhaust system. Still, for those who were expecting torque blast from the motorcycle, it offers 14 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm, picking up the same tune that is seen on Suzuki Gixxer. Intruder 150 measures 2130 mm in length, 805 mm in width and 1095 mm in height. Riders will enjoy riding over its 740 mm of low saddle while performance may some some dip with high 148 kg of overall weight. Suzuki Intruder 150 feels more like a Yamaha V-Max from certain angles than an Intruder.

The brand’s floating instrument console is carried forward on the 150cc cruiser rear resembles Hayabusa from certain angles. Keeping the cost low was one important element and using parts from Gixxer made this possible for the Japanese manufacturer.

The same 154.9cc, single cylinder engine as Suzuki Gixxer is seen on Intruder 150. It offers 14.6 BHP and 14 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and uses carburetor for fuel supply. ABS is shared with Gixxer SF and thus, only front brake carries the safety package.

Front tyre measures 100/80-17 while rear is 140/60-17 on all Suzuki 150cc motorcycles. Suzuki Intruder rivals none other than Bajaj Avenger Street 150 in its segment. Still, Royal Enfield riders looking for more technology can even opt for the new 150cc cruiser. It can get a price tag of somewhere around INR 90,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
