The bike features unique graphic detailing as well as a Pulsar 220F inspired front end design. In comparison to the Pulsar 180, no mechanical changes have been made in the 180F (180 Neon). The bike is available in the market in two stunning shades: Gloss Black with Red logos and Matte Silver with Orange logos. The majority of Bajaj dealerships are yet to receive the ABS-equipped variant of the semi-faired sports bike but according to the reports, the pre-bookings have begun at INR 500.

The engine has been mated to a 5-speed transmission. The braking duties are handled by a 260mm disc brake at the front while the rear of the bike gets a 230mm disc brake.

The semi-faired Pulsar 180 Neon (180F) competes in the market with the likes of TVS Apache RTR 180, Honda CB Hornet 160R, Yamaha FZS V3 and the Suzuki Gixxer SF.

Bajaj Working on Pulsar 250 & Next-Gen Pulsars: A recent report in the automotive industry claims that Bajaj Auto is working on a next-gen Pulsar lineup that will use advanced components and switch of technology from the present generation lineup. Termed as UG6, Pulsar lineup will witness inclusion of fuel injection and four valve setup for BS6 compliant engines before April 2020. Before this progress, every motorcycle in the Pulsar and Avenger range is said to bring single-channel ABS into action and fulfil all terms that the government has proposed for 2019.

The single-channel ABS unit is shared with NS200, first seen in Pulsar 220F and then in 180 and 150. As Bajaj offer 150, 180 and 220cc options under DTS-i lineup, it may not be possible for them to continue all of them for 2020. Pulsar 150 sells like hot cake and thus, it got ABS for April 2019 and will soon claim monoshock, major design update and fuel injection for April 2020.

Pulsar 250
Bajaj Working on Next-Gen Pulsars, Pulsar 250 Also Coming!

It will then be seen how Bajaj adjusts the placement of Pulsar 150 and NS160 in India. Adding all these features to Pulsar 180 and 220F will also be necessary as both sell in good numbers. The same report even claims that Bajaj Auto may also introduce a new 250cc Pulsar in India around early 2020. This makes things fishy for Bajaj as placing the same around RS200 can challenge its existence.

If not that, they could leave the 200cc engine behind and work on both Pulsar NS250 and RS250 for 2020. This will allow them to introduce more power and tougher rivalry to the present generation of products. Bajaj Auto may again share parts among all models, which will include all-digital consoles and better exhausts with fewer emission values. Their update will help them survive the increasing wave of newcomers that include Honda CB Hornet 160R, X-Blade, Yamaha FZS V3 and even FZ25.

2019 Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon has changed the way how semi-faired motorcycles were earlier considered by the fans in India. Those who were forced to spend a fortune on getting the 220F for the love of this design can now keep the initial investment low and still enjoy the same looks with enhanced visual features. Here we have five reasons to buy the new Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon.

5 Reasons to Buy Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon

1) Legendary Design – The rounded, semi-faired design is a benchmark for the motorcycles of its kind. It was invented more than a decade ago but believe it or not, the design looks fresh when compared to those which have been designed in 2018/2019. The projector headlight setup within the front section is practical and beautiful at the same time.

2) Retro-Modern Console – Not many brands offer a physical tachometer these days and that makes the console of Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon a great option for buyers who love seeing the needle rush from one end to the red limit when revved hard. The display is equally helpful for clear readings like the speed and distance travelled on the motorcycle.

3) Attractive Color Options – 2019 Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon is available in Neon Orange and Neon Red shade. The former brings matt finished orange highlights on a basic dark shade while latter is a gloss black base shade with Red highlights. The Pulsar and 180F branding, along with the rear grab rail flaunts the Neon family lines.

4) Vast Service Network – Buying a Pulsar 180 Neon will introduce you to the vast service network of Bajaj Auto. Not just that, their service intervals are longer than standard bikes that ensure lower cost of maintenance and decent spare part costs.

5) Excellent Value for Money – When considering a motorcycle at INR 87,000 (ex-showroom), Pulsar 180 Neon is total value for money due to its powerful engine, mouth-watering design, and available features. The same amount of money brings just 150cc or a couple of 160cc bikes from the streetfighter segment in the country.

Bajaj has finally launched the much-awaited Pulsar 180F in India with a price tag of INR 87,000 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). Based on the same design language as its elder sibling, the Pulsar 220F, the newly launched model gets a name tag of Pulsar 180 Neon.

As per the official website of Bajaj, the bike is available in the Neon Orange colour combination with the grab rails and the Pulsar logo finished in Orange colour. The orange accents on the body panels justify its sports bike look. Before the official launch of Pulsar 180F, the bike was spotted in one more shade (Black with Red highlights). It is expected that Bajaj will update the official website with the images of Neon Red shade in the coming days.

Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon (180F) Officially Launched @ INR 87,000

Powering the Bajaj Pulsar 180 Neon (180F) is a 178.6 cc, single cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 17.02 HP at 8,500 rpm and an utmost torque of 14.22 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It gets a fuel tank capacity of 15 litres while the wheelbase of 1345mm is perfect for handling the bike well on every terrain.

The engine specifications have been borrowed from the Bajaj Pulsar 180 thus offering rather same fuel efficiency. The braking duties are handled by a 260mm disc brake at front and a  230mm disc at the rear. One of the absurd facts considering the launch of Bajaj Pulsar 180F is the fact that the company has skipped ABS for the same. Though, we can expect the brand to introduce a single channel ABS later keeping in mind that the Government has officially made it mandatory for bikes above 125cc starting April 1, 2019.

New Bajaj Pulsar 180F (Mega Photo Gallery): Pulsar 180F can be seen here with all its glory in the recent set of real-world images. The motorcycle looks identical to the Pulsar 220F and thus, gathering fan following will not take much time here when the bigger cousin is about to cross INR 1 lakh in the coming days. Pulsar 180F is seen with the Neon-inspired graphics with colour highlights on the grab rail, side fairing, and Pulsar moniker. The differentiating point for both the bikes is the use of regular exhaust system on the Pulsar 180F. However, the rider will also notice the difference in power that comes with a reduction of 40cc in comparison to Pulsar 220F.

The seats are well padded and overall finish is praiseworthy for the new Pulsar 180F. Priced at INR 86,500 and yet to be listed on the official website, this model definitely brings a better deal than any of the non-ABS 150cc streetfighter around the segment. The matt finish seen here looks perfect with the matching engine/gearbox casing and rear footpeg holder. The 180cc, single cylinder engine on the motorcycle is shared with Pulsar 180, producing 17.02 HP of maximum power and 14.22 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The ex-showroom price of Pulsar 180F is INR 86,500 for the non-ABS model. Bajaj will launch the single-channel ABS model in the coming weeks.

Bajaj Pulsar 180 ABS has been launched in India for INR 92,563 (ex-showroom). It was earlier spotted testing with complete camouflage on its body. The motorcycle is carrying single-channel ABS as standard while price gap between the non-ABS and ABS variant is just INR 7,000.

They have even introduced a non-ABS faired version of the Pulsar with the name 180F. The ABS ring will be seen on all Pulsar models as the deadline for updating bikes with a 125cc+ engine is nearing fast. The blue back-lit console and the side panels under the seat remain the same as present-gen models. The belly pan is also seen on the Bajaj Pulsar 180 ABS model.

Bajaj has already updated the Pulsar 150 with wide tires, rear disc brake and single-channel ABS under the twin-disc moniker. It is expected that after introducing ABS to the lineup, they will discontinue all other 150cc variants and keep Neon as well as twin disc (both ABS equipped) for the buyers. When it comes to Pulsar 180, the model is a decent seller and got itself an upgrade in the form of faired Pulsar 180F.

Bajaj is expected to use single-channel ABS on all their bikes, leaving just the Dominar and upcoming high displacement products with dual channel ABS as standard. The Pulsar range currently starts from INR 64,998 (ex-showroom). The only model left without ABS introduction in the Bajaj Pulsar lineup is NS160. It is expected to get 1-channel ABS in coming days.

Meet Bajaj Pulsar 180 Scrambler: Modification to a motorcycle is the most amazing thing that one can achieve to obtain exclusivity in life. Aghori Customs have done one such experiment with a Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTSi, turning this commuter-centric performer into a mind-blowing Scrambler.

The black shade is like a building block for Pulsar and keeping their creation perfect required the use of black on a majority of elements. The front of this Scrambler flaunts thick rubber over standard Pulsar alloy wheel. A custom fender on top of the wheel and gloss black finished front suspension are perfectly synced, creating a premium appeal in comparison to stock parts.

Aghori Customs are using a different fuel tank that looks more retro-inspired and purposely chiseled. The front suspension has more travel than before while headlight used here is a basic round unit with a halogen bulb and chrome outer ring.

They have replaced the side panels with custom built flat pieces that are partially triangular. Use of a longer swing-arm permitted this big rear wheel into the motorcycle. The stock seat of Bajaj Pulsar 180 gives way to this beautiful ribbed seat with a triangular stop light. Another change was the use of a monoshock instead of twin shock absorbers.

The motorcycle comes with a custom exhaust unit that gets gloss black finish. The entire body of this Scrambler comes without any graphical addition for the minimalistic yet commanding look. A stock Pulsar 180 engine with black finish is ready to rule the streets.

This typical 178.6cc, single cylinder engine is good for 16.8 BHP at 8500 rpm and 14.2 Nm at 6500 rpm. Gearbox on the Scrambler remains five-speed. The removal of most parts must have resulted in a weight loss situation for Pulsar 180. Aghori Customs has not shared the exact amount required to turn a stock motorcycle into this beautiful Scrambler.

Modified Bajaj Pulsar 180 by Mystik Moto: Cafe Racers are a unique way of expressing freedom on the road. Their lean body design, single seat layout and powerful throttle response makes them truly beautiful for long drives.

Mystik Moto achieved the same level of expectations through Black Marlin, a totally customized Bajaj Pulsar 180 that now looks, feels and even revs the cafe racer way.

First half of the frame was kept intact while rear went under the scissor to achieve the flat seat look on a Pulsar chassis. They first replaced the stock fuel tank with a metal tank that runs almost in the same line as the brown wrapped seat.

The fuel tank flaunts golden shade with pride while the same can be seen on front brake caliper and gas canister for rear suspension. Stock alloy wheels were replaced with spoke wheels that were further painted Black for better contrast.

Other components on use includes a custom exhaust system, side mounted speedometer, wider tyres, almost empty headlight area and uniquely mounted clip-on handlebars. Black Marlin comes with extensive ground clearance and but still, its seating position makes the rider vulnerable to jerks when experiencing a mild off-road ride.

Bajaj Pulsar 180 is powered by a 178.6cc, single cylinder engine producing 16.8 BHP at 8500 rpm and 14.22 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The stock bike weighs 145 kg while Black Marlin uses all metal parts and would have gained some lean muscle through heavier wheels and other modifications.

Even the tyres now weigh more through bigger tread. Mystik Moto has precisely finished every part and proudly used their logo on both sides of the fuel tank.
