Made-in-India BMW G310GS Officially Launched in Indonesia

Manufactured in India, BMW G310GS was recently launched in Indonesia for IDR 125 million (INR 5.96 lakh approx). It is based on G310R and commands a premium of approximately INR 50,000 over the price tag of the much awaited Roadster. This will limit the price difference to INR 25,000 in India when BMW officially brings both bikes to the market. BMW G310GS shares the same 313cc, single cylinder engine producing 33.6 BHP at 9500 rpm and 28 Nm at 7500 rpm. G310GS benefits from long travel suspension, better tyres and higher seat height for mild off-road adventure. It still claims 143 kmph of top speed and can cruise all day long at triple digit speeds. Global reports hint that it can deliver a healthy mileage of above 30 kmpl in most conditions. It rivals quarter liter global options like Kawasaki Versys 250 and upcoming KTM 390 Adventure.
