Their E1+ e-scooter, which used to carry a price tag of Rs 1,13,000, is now available for only Rs 89,000 until March 31 across all regions in India. This recent price adjustment represents a substantial Rs 24,000 reduction, aimed at making electric mobility more attainable for a wider range of consumers.
Boosting Sales with Lower Price
The significant price drop for the E1+ is expected to have a positive impact on sales figures for Bounce. Despite its initial launch in April 2022, the company has managed to sell only 8,570 units of the E1+ till date. This reduction in cost is likely to attract more potential buyers who were previously deterred by the higher price point.
Swappable Battery Feature
One of the standout features of the E1+ is its swappable battery capability. This innovative feature allows users to easily replace the battery when it runs out of charge, providing added convenience and flexibility. The scooter comes equipped with a 2kWh lithium-ion battery, capable of delivering a range of up to 85km on a single charge. Alternatively, customers also have the option to purchase the scooter without the battery and instead subscribe to a battery service. The battery pack itself weighs approximately 12kg, ensuring manageable weight for handling and swapping.

Powered by a 2.2kW hub-mounted motor, the E1+ offers impressive performance capabilities. With a top speed of 65kph, it provides both efficient urban commuting and reliable travel for short to moderate distances.
Comparing Prices
Despite the reduced price, the E1+ remains slightly more expensive than its competitor, the Ola S1 X, which boasts a comparable battery capacity. However, it is competitively priced when compared to the S1 X, which features a larger 3kWh battery. Additionally, a special promotion is currently available for the S1 X+, priced at Rs 84,999 until March 1, further intensifying competition in the market segment. Customers now have the opportunity to choose from a range of electric scooter options, each offering unique features and pricing structures to suit individual preferences and budgets.
