Farhan Akhtar recently got himself a brand new Grand Cherokee from Jeep dealership in Mumbai. The keys were personally handed over to Farhan by FCA India president and MD, Kevin Flynn.
Jeep has huge fan following among Bollywood stars and recently, they even gave Jeep Compass SUVs to select stars for brand promotion in their own style. Farhan Akhtar already own some of the renowned exotic cars and True Blue Pearl Grand Cherokee will look fabulous among them. Price for stock Grand Cherokee starts at INR 78.82 lakh while buyers can also select between two different engine options.

The fact about Farhan’s engine selection is unknown yet but majority of buyers go for torque rich diesel engines in cars of this size. Petrol power is either preferred in sedans or high end performance variants like Grand Cherokee SRT. His car rivals Mercedes Benz GLS, Audi Q7 and BMW X5 in this segment.
Diesel power comes from 3.0L, six cylinder turbocharged engine producing 240 BHP and 570 Nm of massive torque. Petrol, on the other hand, is also a six cylinder motor, producing 286 BHP and 347 Nm. Both engines are offered with eight speed automatic gearbox as standard.
Features are given utmost importance in Jeep Grand Cherokee as Farhan Akhtar gets 19 speaker Harman music system with three sub-woofers on his car. Noise levels are kept the lowest with active noise cancellation, acoustic windshield and Berber carpet mats.
He also gets adaptive cruise control, 20 inch alloy wheels and park assist feature along with Jeep’s signature terrain management system. Last year, Saif Ali Khan took the delivery of Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT while this year, both Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez were given Jeep Compass by the brand. Compass is their best-selling product with average monthly sale of 2500 units.
