All-New Suzuki GSX-S300 (Haojue DR300) Officially Revealed

Suzuki GSX-S300, rebranded as Haojue DR300 for the Chinese market, has got an official debut in China at the Chongqing Motor Show. The motorcycle looks extremely potent with sharpest ever design for this segment. The closest comparison, Yamaha MT-03, feels outdated in front of the sharp fuel tank extensions, excellent tail finish with dual-tone panels and perfectly designed under seat section with multiple panels locking into each other. The exhaust design rises with pride, increasing the width gradually as the eyes start scanning the same from the brake lever side. The heat shield on the exhaust signifies great attention to detail on the motorcycle. The front comes with USD forks, finished in Black on the red shade and Golden on the blue. The alloy wheels are slightly inspired from Bajaj Dominar but lack the golden finish for this unique metallic look. The seat on Suzuki GSX-S300 (Haojue DR300 here) is flat and well divided, perfect not just for a street bike but equally impressive on a SuperSport motorcycle. In fact, the design, when imagined without the small front headlight and tank scoops, can support a complete fairing and R300 moniker. The headlight used here is futuristic, finished in dual tone expressions and carrying an almost negligible visor. The front fender is left black on both the shades. The motorcycle seen here comes with a 298cc, twin-cylinder engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The front features 110-section while the rear gets 140-section rubber, both sourced from Pirelli. The bike measures 2,055mm in length, 720mm in width and 1,050mm in height. It weighs just 177 kg and uses dual channel ABS as standard. The wheelbase for GSX-S300 measures 1,420mm. Indian market may not get the same model initially as expecting Gixxer 250 will be a more feasible move from the brand. The 250cc Gixxer will rival Yamaha FZ25 and KTM 250 Duke.
