Yes, the report for May 2018 claims that only 2 units of the popular Kawasaki Ninja series motorcycle was sold throughout India. Fans can clearly see how the number of units were raised to 115 units for Ninja 300 in March 2018 while next two months saw only 2 units being delivered each month. One reason for this difference is the entry of new Ninja 400.
Kawasaki has not yet disclosed the numbers for their new bike. Yamaha R3, on the other hand, seems like getting consistent number of buyers from last three months. The low 8 unit sale was registered during the month of its arrival in India.

If compared in terms of power and equipment, Yamaha R3 clearly wins with 41.4 BHP and 29.6 Nm of torque. The bike packs standard ABS and claims a price tag of just INR 3.48 lakh. Kawasaki Ninja 300 is good for 38.5 BHP and 27 Nm. It lacks ABS and carries a price tag of INR 3.60 lakh. A recent report also claimed that Kawasaki will locally produce this model and price the same around INR 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
