Bajaj Pulsar RS200 shocked everyone with its official entry in March 2015. After the launch of the RS200 in the Indian market, the buyers who were struggling to get their hands on the KTM RC 200, got a great 200cc option that is not just equally impressive but also saves a lot of money.

Now a few years later, Vietnam based ‘Leeat Moto’ has come forward with a heavily modified Pulsar RS200, which is inspired by the mighty Kawasaki Ninja H2. The motorcycle has been personally customized with aggressive bodywork and a sharper design. Let’s forget the front face for a moment but no one can deny the fact that side fairing used here looks even more genuine than the original RS200.

For those who believe in strong superbike inspired sound, this single-cylinder machine features an Akrapovic full titanium exhaust system. The front fascia is almost identical to the Ninja H2 and thus, the modifier has used a centre-mounted headlight and panel integrated turn indicators for aggressive styling.

The visor has also grown into a full-sized unit that now gets better positioning for lesser fatigue due to wind blast. Leeat Moto has used USD telescopic forks for better suspension abilities and at the same time, better clip-on bars have been used to get that perfect track bike control from the motorcycle.

The modifier has reshaped the entire body and they have equipped the bike with a slim LED taillight. Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is already a decently powerful motorcycle, and after this modification, the lightweight parts must have made it closer in terms of performance to the KTM RC 200.

The 199.5cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled engine on the motorcycle is good for 24.5 HP of maximum power and 18.6 Nm of maximum torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. At present, the stock model of Pulsar RS200 is available for INR 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), and it comes with a single-channel ABS unit as standard.

The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon is now officially on-sale in India. It has been priced at INR 41 lakh, with a rise in the price of almost INR 1.20 lakh from the previous model year. There is a smaller fairing on the bike when it is put against the regular superbikes. There is an increased power in the bike, producing 31 hp over its previous generation, with an additional 12 hp available with the Ram Air assistance. The 998cc 4-stroke inline-four liquid-cooled engine with the supercharger produces a maximum power of 231 hp at 11,500 rpm and a peak torque of 141.7 Nm at 11,000 rpm.

The Ninja H2 Carbon inherits the frame, finished in green, from the Ninja H2R. The H2 Carbon is from the flagship series of Kawasaki and it gets the build quality from the H2R as well. The instrument panel on the H2 Carbon is a TFT LCD screen that has an analogue tachometer and a digital display for the other technologically advanced features that are displayed graphically in full colour. There are four display modes, allowing the user to customize how they want to prioritize the different pieces of information displayed. The instrument cluster also offers connectivity options with smartphones.

The Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon makes use of carbon fibre for the upper cowl of the bike. This is the key distinguishing feature between the H2 and the H2R. The material is extremely lightweight and quite rigid as well. The single seat on the Ninja H2R eliminates the possibility of a pillion rider and makes the bike totally rider-centric. Other features include Brembo brakes with cornering management, Bosch IMU with traction control, and a 6-axis inertia management system. The alloys on the H2 Carbon are Pentastar shaped, and look quite appealing to the eyes being finished in black and chrome.

2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2R has been launched in India for INR 72 lakh. The price will not attract any additional taxation or registration charge as H2R is a track-legal bike with no scope for the rider to use the same on public roads. It does not comply with the sound and emission norms of streets and highways, which further means that the owners will need a subscription of a towing service or get themselves a pickup truck with enough space to load this 2070mm long motorcycle. The 2019 variant is priced INR 2.20 lakh higher than the older variant, bringing a couple of upgrades worth consideration.

If you are wondering why to buy this INR 72 lakh machine when you can get your hands on 2019 Ninja H2 for INR 34.50 lakh, this mighty track machine is 22kg lighter and offers a total of 326 hp at 14,000 rpm. It weighs just 216 kg, making it much more powerful in terms of power to weight ratio than the celebrated Koenigsegg One:1. Ninja H2R now uses self-healing paint layer on the Mirror Coated Matte Spark Black shade and brings a colored TFT display. The upper cowl of Ninja H2R brings carbon fiber wings for more downforce generation. Ninja H2R rivals BMW HP4 Race in India.

2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 is now officially available in India for INR 34.50 lakh. The only supercharged motorcycle around the globe is now more powerful than ever, thanks to the updates that Kawasaki pushed into the H2 for this typical model year. The 998cc, inline-4, and liquid cooled engine now produces maximum power of 231HP at 11,500 rpm. The same goes up by 12HP when Ram Air assistance is available on the standard H2. The torque value is even class-leading at 141.7 NM, produced just 500 rpm short of the maximum power value.

The bodywork of Ninja H2 is highly aerodynamically efficient, reducing the amount of power that the engine needs to waste in fighting the upcoming wind. The design is different from regular superbikes, flaunting smaller side fairing that is enough to keep rider fresh and fatigue-free on track rides. The rear end guarantees no pillion interference as Ninja H2 is available with a single seat layout and impressive backrest design for ease of riding at all times. The paint seen here is magical, carrying self-healing properties for minor scratches through a special coat on top of Mirror Coated Spark Black shade.

2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 weighs 238 kg and uses a reliable trellis frame with loads of electronics to handle the highest available power output on a road-legal bike. The wheels still carry the original design that is specific to Ninja H2, made out of aluminum and carrying black/chrome finish. 2019 variant comes with a colored TFT display, helping rider enjoy recording and viewing values in an even interactive manner. The model comes with dual 330mm Brembo brakes with cornering management, Bosch IMU with traction control and 6-axis inertia management. The 2019 variant is priced INR 1.20 lakh over the older variant, offering 31HP of more power in comparison to the standard 2018 H2.

Kawasaki Ninja H2R vs Ninja H2: India now has a long list of superbikes, starting right from Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R at INR 12.80 lakh to the mighty BMW HP4 Race at INR 85 lakh. Still, Ninja H2 and H2R claim an interesting point in motorcycling, both carrying a unique feature that is missing from every other superbike around the world. Yes, the guess is right as the supercharger is something that only cars had before its introduction in H2. Kawasaki retails the H2 for INR 33.30 lakh whereas H2R comes with INR 69.80 lakh worth price tag.

Kawasaki Ninja H2R vs Ninja H2
Kawasaki Ninja H2R

The difference in number is not just specific to India, as Ninja H2 and H2R cost $28,000 and $55,000 in the US market. Most people wonder how this huge gap in price tag is justified by the brand, as INR 36.50 lakh can bring you one more Ninja H2 and still leave enough money for the fuel. Here we will discuss the differences that you get after spending this amazingly huge amount.

Kawasaki Ninja H2R vs Ninja H2
Kawasaki Ninja H2

Kawasaki Ninja H2R vs Ninja H2

# Power Output/Power to Weight Ratio

Kawasaki Ninja H2 and H2R use the same 998cc, supercharged engine with a 4-cylinder layout and liquid cooling. The road legal version is good for 210 hp at 11,000 rpm and 133.5 Nm at 10,500 rpm. Ninja H2 weighs 238 kg and claims 882.35 hp/tonne of power to weight ratio.

The other one, Ninja H2R, comes with 326 hp at 14,000 rpm and 165 Nm at 12,500 rpm. As it weighs just 216 kg, the power to weight ratio here is 1509.25 hp/tonne. Now if we have a 70 kg rider on both the bikes, you can easily imagine how would it feel after revving both the bikes to the full throttle.

Kawasaki Ninja H2R
Kawasaki Ninja H2R

# ECU Mapping

Ninja H2 and H2R may feel like siblings to many, but in actual, they have a totally different ECU mapping. For clever minds with thoughts of making H2R from a regular H2, Kawasaki has made the fact sure that no misuse of Ninja H2R parts will be allowed.

To keep this under check, they only offer spare parts after verifying the customer’s identity and vehicle identification number. A similar ECU remap will blow the regular engine, and thus, riders never try converting an H2 into H2R. However, the use of parts like exhausts can help in weight reduction and better air flow from Ninja H2.

Kawasaki Ninja H2R

# Warranty Issues

Kawasaki Ninja H2R vs Ninja H2

Kawasaki Ninja H2 comes with a standard warranty package while H2R comes with no such thing as a warranty with its purchase. Buyers of regular Ninja will follow a strict service routine while those getting Ninja H2R will need to get the motorcycle inspected after 15 hours of riding over 8000 rpm.

That not just raises the overall cost but also clears that you should not buy a Ninja H2R if not willing to use the same for professional track racing. Otherwise, you will need to see the Kawasaki mechanic more often than any of your friends. The standard service plans are applicable too on H2R.

Kawasaki Ninja H2
Kawasaki Ninja H2

# Component Difference

Kawasaki Ninja H2R vs Ninja H2

Ninja H2 comes with front rear-view mirrors with inbuilt indicators, rear number plate holder, and headlight. It uses regular road-legal tires and a huge side exhaust that controls sound and emission norms. It can be ridden anywhere and anytime. Ninja H2R lacks all these necessary parts, and moreover, the tires on use are for track only. Nobody will love shredding those expensive pieces on city roads for no use. The headlight goes missing and thus, riding becomes a sun-dependent activity.

Whether it’s Ninja H2R or it’s BMW HP4 Race, these bikes are exclusively for track use with a limited number of riding hours and maximum output. Buyers looking for a great machine, irrespective of the money they have with them, should consider road legal motorcycles for maximum fun. Special versions of certain bikes like Aprilia RSV4 and MV Agusta F4 can also be a good choice for exclusivity loving personalities.

2017 Kawasaki Ninja H2, H2 Carbon & H2R Launched in India

The 2017 Ninja H2, H2 Carbon and H2R were recently launched in India, starting with a price tag of INR 33.30 lakh for the base H2, INR 39.80 lakh for the H2 Carbon and a mind boggling INR 69.80 lakh for the race bred H2R. This makes the Ninja H2R one of the most impressive as well as expensive motorcycle in India.bg_17zx1000y_201gy3drf00d_c

310 PS of raw power, 216 kg of wet weight can actually shatter everything in its way as the power to weight ratio can put everything else into the rest position. Just 120 units of the H2 Carbon will be manufactured globally, making it more precious than anything in a collector’s garage. The 2017 version of H2 now comes with 6 axis Inertial Measurement unit, making the motorcycle much more effective by recording your maximum lean angle and displaying the same in real time.

The motorcycle carries cornering ABS for enhanced safety and bi-directional quick shifter for much easier gear shifting without using the clutch. Kawasaki has made the H2 Euro 4 compliant while the H2R gets new Matt paint finish. The H2R comes with carbon fiber body, new paint finish and redesigned logos. After this sudden launch report, it seems that the new Kawasaki Ninja 650 may even soon enter the Indian market, along with the 2017 Ninja 1000.bg_17zx1000x_201gy2drf00d_c
