Know More About Pulsar RS200

Bajaj Pulsar RS200 (Green and Orange)
Bajaj Pulsar RS200 (Green and Orange)

Bajaj is using a 6-speed gearbox to keep this racer updated among its class rivals. It looks quite interesting in both these shades but still, one should enquire about the road legal status of the paint before buying. Braking on RS200 is handled by a 300mm front and 230mm rear disc. Front comes loaded with ABS while rear stays standard in both of the variants. Twin projector headlight, comfortable seating for two and loads of power on little throttle makes the Pulsar RS200 a worthy competitor to KTM RC200. One can buy a RS200 for around INR 1.23 lakh (ex-showroom) while RC200 is almost INR 50,000 over this price tag. Image Source: IAB

Which one should I buy: Bajaj Pulsar RS200 or Yamaha Fazer 25?
2022-12-29 06:10:56 AM
Fazer 25 has a 249cc, single-cylinder, fuel injected air/oil-cooled engine with a two-valve head. Its power and torque are 20.69 BHP and 20 Nm. The engine carries a five-speed gearbox. Pulsar RS200 has a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid cooling and fuel injection engine which uses a four-valve head with SOHC layout and produces more power than the Fazer at 24.5 BHP. Fazer is offering stronger bottom end performance which is enjoyable in urban conditions, while the more powerful Pulsar with its sixth gear has better highway performance. Yamaha Fazer 25 is longer, wider and taller than the RS200 and also boasts a longer wheelbase. Despite this, Fazer 25 weighs a good 11kg less than the Pulsar but Yamaha still doesn’t offer the option of ABS. RS200 can be purchased with single-channel ABS for an additional Rs 12,000. The price range of both bikes is almost in the same segment as Pulsar is priced around INR 1,21,800 and Yamaha Fazer price is INR 1,29,335. Fazer 25 promises a premium feel and exceptional reliability that get only from all of Yamaha’s products.
