Sporty Haojue DR300 (Suzuki GSX-S300) Leaked; India Launch Possible

The sporty version of Haojue DR300, also expected to be the new Suzuki GSX-S300 for select markets, has leaked through a set of patent images. The motorcycle has undergone a lot of changes and primarily, the focus here is to make things more sporty than ever. Haojue is about to the launch the standard DR300 in China soon and after the success of the first version, they will introduce this sporty version at a later stage. The motorcycle is based on design lines of bigger products that focus more on the rider’s stance than caring about pillion comfort. The DR300 will also serve as the base for GSX-S300 and soon after the launch of sporty Haojue DR300, Suzuki could consider the same design for markets where they need to place the GSX-S300 as a premium product. The change in design philosophy is quite radical and additions are clearly visible. The front comes with a dual headlight split design within a single casing and not just that, the facial expressions are inspired by the litre-class Kawasaki Z1000 to a minor extent. The fuel tank on the sporty Haojue DR300 is raised and well-chiselled while the seat goes low for the rider. The rear section is smaller than usual on the motorcycle. The dual exhaust design looks impressive and front end flaunts the impressive USD forks with pride. The alloy wheels are sporty and so are the Yamaha style tank extensions. As 300cc bikes are considered premium for the Indian market, Suzuki may consider the launch of the sporty version of Haojue DR300 as Gixxer 300 or maybe GSX-S300, in the coming months. Images Source
