Suzuki fans are still waiting for the mighty GSX-R150 in India, getting no other option than the Gixxer SF to fulfil their faired bike needs in the country. On the other hand, Decal46 from Vietnam has modified the lightweight racer into an even more sharp machine than before.

The design takes inspiration from the Ninja H2 at one point, leaving all other bits exclusive to the face kit used by the modifier. The front now comes with a unique fairing, dividing the headlight into two sections and creating an illusion of a centre projector unit through the custom piece of the fairing.

Not just that, the sides now feature sharp extensions that cover some section of the headlight from the side view. The visor used here is more prominent, all thanks to the division of the wide headlight and black tint by the customizer.

The indicators that were pointing out of the fairing are now beautifully studded at the same space, leaving no empty space on the side profile of the motorcycle. The entire body is finished in a white and blue theme, with the front section carrying a majority of white finish with blue inserts and vice versa. The fender section on both ends stays black.

The motorcycle also comes with a custom Akrapovic exhaust that looks a lot better than the black unit seen on the stock model of the Suzuki GSX-R150. The motorcycle can also be seen with a custom rear two-piece grab rail with the black finish. The disc brakes are still thinner than usual, especially the rear one that looks almost of the same size as chain sprocket.

Decal46 has used a carbon fiber finish on certain elements, adding more race-friendly feel to the bike at some of the most prominent positions. The engine used here is the same 147.3cc, single-cylinder unit, producing 18.90 BHP of maximum power and 14 Nm of maximum torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. As of now, Suzuki has no plans to launch the GSX-R150 in India.

2020 Suzuki Hayabusa was recently seen in an impressive render by Young Machine. The image looks really impressive as the new Hayabusa looks more streamlined in comparison to the present version. If this comes out close to the real version, Suzuki has a clear winner on its side. The front fascia seen here comes with sharper design and carries equipment like LED stripe going through the middle of the air scoops and headlight. They have kept the headlight in the same design language while its internal section seems to be divided into two blocks.

2020 Suzuki Hayabusa Rendering

The side profile would be even sharpened for the 2020 look, losing all those curves that were seen from every angle on the present generation motorcycle. It gets itself a new exhaust and flaunts its front USD forks as well as brake callipers with proud. Suzuki will retain the massive dimensions of the motorcycle as it improves its road presence. It will now look more like the litre class GSX-R1000. The rear end is seen with a familiar seat cowl while the body seems thin in the centre section. The exhaust design is all new, definitely helping them reduce some weight and follow the now applicable Euro-5 norms. Not just that, the new Hayabusa could be a Euro-6 compliant motorcycle.

Suzuki will shed some weight from the bulky racer, helping it claim a better spot against the closest rival, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. Suzuki even recently patented turbocharged hybrid technology for litre class motorcycles, hinting at an even powerful comeback for the new Hayabusa. The current generation is powered by 1340 cc, 4-cylinder engine producing 200 HP at 9500 rpm and 155 Nm at 7200 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and weighs quite high at 266 kg. It currently claims a top speed of 312 kph with the removal of the speed limiter.

Suzuki recently launched 2 new shades for the current-gen Hayabusa in India, it is presently available with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 13.74 lakh. The 2020 model is expected to be revealed at the EICMA in November 2019.

India’s first 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa was delivered to Mr Kaif Dosani and Mr Ameen Dosani in Mumbai on Jan 1, 2019. The shade selected was Metallic Oort Grey while unboxing of the motorcycle brought smiles on the faces of confused buyers who thought Hayabusa was under the discontinued list of products. The availability of Hayabusa will be limited to a specific number of units as the Japanese brand has earlier cleared that no Hayabusa will be manufactured after 31 Dec 2018. However, the parts may be available in abundance and Suzuki could deliver the kits to both Indian and the US market till the stocks last in their Japanese inventory.

The production halt is applicable only to the engine and exhaust system as rest of the parts have nothing to do with the emission properties. Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by a 1340cc, four-cylinder petrol engine producing 200HP of maximum power and 155 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The claimed top speed for Hayabusa is 312 kph while every motorcycle comes with an electronic speed limiter with 299 kph of pre-programmed speed. The motorcycle costs INR 13.74 lakh in Delhi, excluding the mandatory on-road charges like registration and five-year insurance.

It can be had with a 1340cc, four-cylinder engine, producing 200 PS and 155 Nm. The values are good enough to propel the 266 kg motorcycle from standstill to 100 kph in 3 seconds. The top speed is limited to 299 kph on the stock version while unrestricted versions can touch 312 kph with ease.

Suzuki Hayabusa will be discontinued from several important markets on December 31, 2018. The availability will be limited to countries like US and India where emissions norms are not as strict as European nations. Hayabusa can reach the given restricted top speed in 25.4 seconds. Internationally, the motorcycle rivals Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R while for India, the price gap of approx INR 6 lakh divides them among two different price segments. The latter is brought through the CBU route in India. The next-generation Suzuki Hayabusa is expected to use a bigger turbocharged engine for class-leading power. 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa is expected to be unveiled at EICMA in November 2019.

Suzuki Hayabusa has registered 188% sales growth for the month of November 2018. The total number of units sold is 23 in comparison to just 8 units in November 2017. The report of Hayabusa getting discontinued is applicable for just European and Japanese market while as even before ending the production, they will produce enough motorcycles to keep the Hayabusa running in India for entire 2019. Suzuki Hayabusa is available in two new shades and price increase of INR 20,000 was charged by the brand. In comparison to the Hayabusa, Kawasaki ZX-14R registered zero units in the sales chart during this 30-day period.

Suzuki is working on the next generation Hayabusa that will support Euro-6 engine and may launch with enhanced power output through supercharging. The motorcycle is also expected to use lighter frame and body than the present version. The present version is available with a 1340cc, four-cylinder engine producing 200 HP of power output. It weighs 266 kg, all thanks to the conventional frame and use of standard parts that are not into weight saving. Suzuki is enjoying a niche segment as buyers who love powerful bikes and does not have any problem with the heavy wet weight choose Hayabusa over litre-class bikes.

2018 Indonesia Motor Show revealed another superstar product with Suzuki GSX-R150 ABS for their home market. The already available lightweight racer is now safer than ever, getting a dual channel variant for IDR 33.15 million (INR 1.60 lakh approx). The model remains exactly the same in terms of design and style, offering a light tail end for superport lovers. The 2019 variant seen here is finished in Red, carrying the Suzuki moniker all over its body. The model comes with visible ring within the petal disc brake at the front while the rear was not shown in any of the images available for the model.

Suzuki GSX-R150 also comes in two lower-priced variants, offering a Standard version for IDR 29.10 million (INR 1.41 lakh approx) and Key-less variant for IDR 30.10 million (INR 1.46 lakh approx). The model competes against Honda CBR150R, which also comes with ABS for the Indonesian market. GSX-R150 comes with Solid Black, Stronger Red, Titan Black, Metallic Triton Blue, and Brilliant White shade. The 147.3cc, single cylinder engine on the motorcycle is good for 19 BHP at 10500 rpm and 14 Nm at 9000 rpm. The gearbox stays 6-speed manual on all three models.

The bike still weighs 131 kg and carries 11-liter fuel tank. It will rival Yamaha R15 V3 if launched in the Indian market. Suzuki is yet to announce their plans for the lightweight performance products as they are yet to achieve their 1 million sales target by 2020. For India, they have launched the SP Edition of Intruder and Gixxer series, both counting under the unique shade category and carrying the same 155cc engine. If they launch the GSX-R150 ABS in India, Suzuki has a good chance of getting into the five-digit user base that Yamaha R15 V3 captures every month.

Suzuki GSX-S300, rebranded as Haojue DR300 for the Chinese market, has got an official debut in China at the Chongqing Motor Show. The motorcycle looks extremely potent with sharpest ever design for this segment. The closest comparison, Yamaha MT-03, feels outdated in front of the sharp fuel tank extensions, excellent tail finish with dual-tone panels and perfectly designed under seat section with multiple panels locking into each other. The exhaust design rises with pride, increasing the width gradually as the eyes start scanning the same from the brake lever side. The heat shield on the exhaust signifies great attention to detail on the motorcycle.

The front comes with USD forks, finished in Black on the red shade and Golden on the blue. The alloy wheels are slightly inspired from Bajaj Dominar but lack the golden finish for this unique metallic look. The seat on Suzuki GSX-S300 (Haojue DR300 here) is flat and well divided, perfect not just for a street bike but equally impressive on a SuperSport motorcycle. In fact, the design, when imagined without the small front headlight and tank scoops, can support a complete fairing and R300 moniker. The headlight used here is futuristic, finished in dual tone expressions and carrying an almost negligible visor. The front fender is left black on both the shades.

The motorcycle seen here comes with a 298cc, twin-cylinder engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The front features 110-section while the rear gets 140-section rubber, both sourced from Pirelli. The bike measures 2,055mm in length, 720mm in width and 1,050mm in height. It weighs just 177 kg and uses dual channel ABS as standard. The wheelbase for GSX-S300 measures 1,420mm. Indian market may not get the same model initially as expecting Gixxer 250 will be a more feasible move from the brand. The 250cc Gixxer will rival Yamaha FZ25 and KTM 250 Duke.

The much awaited Suzuki Bandit 150, better known by the official name GSX-150 Bandit, is now officially available in Indonesia for IDR 26 million (INR 1.27 lakh approx, OTR). The motorcycle was unveiled at GIIAS 2018, offering fans a first glimpse of third 150cc product based on their new platform. Technically, Bandit 150 is a reworked GSX-S150, carrying certain practical changes to aid riders in everyday conditions.

Suzuki GSX Bandit 150

The bike measures 2,000mm in length and offer 1300mm of healthy wheelbase. A practical 790mm seat height and 150mm of ground clearance make this 135 kg (dry weight) motorcycle a great option among international spec 150cc street bikes. Suzuki has also listed the engine being used in Bandit 150 on their official website.

Fans will love the 147.3cc, single cylinder engine, producing 18.9 hp at 10,500 rpm and 14 Nm at 9,000 rpm on the new bike. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The typical engine is limited to certain South Asian markets as Indian bikes are offered with a different 154.9cc engine, producing 14.8 hp at 8000 rpm and 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. If launched in India, the Bandit 150 is expected to get a more affordable placement than the sporty Gixxer series, which itself is awaiting a design update.

Suzuki Bandit 150 is available in Stronger Red, Titanium Black, Brilliant White, and Metallic Matte Titanium Silver shade. The front headlight is all-new, clearly showing revelation to its design rival, Honda xBlade. The motorcycle offers a different exhaust design, undivided seat, sharper tank extensions, and petal disc brakes.

GSX-150 Bandit is a more commuter specific motorcycle with a standard handlebar, Gixxer inspired fully-digital console, dual tone fuel tank finish, and standard telescopic forks. It carries a decent alloy wheel design and tires on use are also thinner than other Suzuki 150cc bikes. Suzuki Bandit 150 can be a best-seller in India with its decent overall stance.

While India is still awaiting the launch of lightweight Suzuki GSX-R125, the Japanese superbike manufacturer has introduced a new accessory pack with graphics and physical changes to the already impressive motorcycle in the UK. Even if planned for India, the engine size may rise above the 125cc mark, christening this model as GSX-R150 in the country. It will use the Indonesian spec 150cc engine, rivaling none other than Yamaha R15 V3 and upcoming CBR150R through its fire-breathing attitude. The accessory pack for GSX-R125 offers double bubble visor, a rear seat cowl, color-coded pinstripes on the alloy wheels, and decals for front and side fairing.

The kit is specially designed for the black shade of this motorcycle, offering Red insert on the front fascia, GSX-R branding and Suzuki moniker on the side fairing. The stripe passes through the rear seat cowl and successfully merges with one seen on its side fairing. The price for this kit is £330 (INR 29,500 approx) in the UK, helping buyers save £160 from the official price tag of every accessory summed together. Also, the number includes the fitment charge by the official dealership. Suzuki has made no mechanical changes on the motorcycle, keeping the claimed 43.48 kmpl of mileage intact.

For enthusiasts who love the lightweight performance, Suzuki GSX-R125 weighs just 134 kg and claims 15HP of maximum power from its liquid cooled and fuel injected motor. For India, if ever launched, GSX-R150 will use a 147.3cc engine, producing 19HP of maximum power at 10,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle features LED headlight, lightweight tail section and 11-liter fuel tank as standard. ABS stays optional in certain markets while Indian launch cannot take place without this important safety addition. One can expect the GSX-R150 to get INR 1.40 lakh worth price tag with ABS.
